maybe i need to invest in a surround sound system , I suppose there have been moments where games have creeped me out a bit, like the first world war levels of the darkness. there are a few things that scare the poo out of me in real life though.
we don't need yet another generic glitch ridden hacked war MP ....an amazing creative lengthy SP would be far better. I want to enjoy a good game, not be subjected to foul mouthed obsessed Americans (and kids from other countries that copy them) having said that, I would be happy if they did a really good one and destroyed the COD franchise and that pathetic excuse for a human bobby koteck (or whatever it's called)

best game of the year by far....not very exciting video, but great game. pulls its pants and trousers down and does a big poo over boring generic shooters like mw2 all day long.
@irnbruguy, well if those were my only two choices and i had a very good gaming pc then i would explore pc gaming a bit more. but i have only got a laptop and a ps3 so if i play left for dead it will be on ps3
I'm not sure if i want it. I'd have to read some reviews , if it's just an online thing i'm not really interested, prefer a good single player experience like half life 2 or fallout 3.
depends on the build of your pc and the drm that comes with the game also how well it runs on your version of windows and if you have the skill/patience to deal with any patches etc to make the game work. I prefer to play games on a console, but having said that am enjoying roller coaster tycoon 3 on pc at the moment and it's worked pretty well apart from the odd glitch.
i didn't know wii had fanboys (well not ones that were old enough to type yet) it's really sweet. The wii has Penguin club I think , sounds cute.. awww i'm lactating.

YeS PLUS SSX4 ssx3 was one of the best games i've ever played ever.
a ps3 ssx game at least as good as ssx3 (not the messy on tour effort) I demand this immediately not in 3 years bloody time.
I don't remember there being anything particularly bad for kids in half life, a few fire ants and head crabs arn't going to damage a child. The game has great narrative and characters like the robot dog. If I had kids i'd much rather they play something like this than MW2.
I really enjoyed uncharted 1 , i liked the zombie guys too in their little thongs. quite sexy really and the jet ski levels were atmospheric with great water effects.
I hope they fill it with plenty of cool 1970's music, style and ambiance as opposed to the recent games being swamped by rap music and style, which all sounds the same to me, the world may be a hard place full of attitude these days , but i don't want that in a game, don't mind a bit of motown though. will be great if they manage to get the fun and gameplay quality of GTA 3 LC/VC/SA back as well
yeah i found the wiis controllers didn't work eg when i tried boxing round a mates house. not convinced with anything i've seen from kinect..but move looks like it might actually be usable

I'm mostly a ps3 gamer and also use a pc occasionally.
what strikes me about these memory discussions is how small BOTH systems RAM is , I mean 512 mb?! sure i understand the architecture is maximised for gaming and we have seen the proof with some incredible games on both systems, but even laptops come with 4 gb of RAM these days. Devs have to pull their hair out trying to get stable framerates over a few inexpensive chips...I don't get it.
i was actually considering getting a new 360 for this game , i don't have to now :) well happy
for the next couple of months. I wish i could get as excited as everyone else about GT5. I hope you all have fun, i'm really envious...For me the ultimate game I'm waiting for is ssx4 but it seems that franchise has been died :(
