plus GTA iv is on sale new in the supermarkets for less than half price. I loved the GTA series but IV was not fun to play. The DLC means nothing to me, I will be getting saints row 2 for a fun sandbox fix.

Ive never seen this young man before but i like him, he seems very balanced and unfanboy about the whole 360 ps3 thing, in fact he says to go out and buy a 360 for the GTA DLC even if your a PS3 fanboy. You know the best things in life arn't always the best sellers, I see one of the drawbacks of the current gen consoles is that game production costs are very high, so to gaurantee sales they produce stuff that appeals to the widest possible audience so everything becomes very well produced but lacking in originality. Really i do not know why the wii is taken seriously, it is for kiddies, girls and drunks. The controls are truely awful, I'd rather have a vic20 than a wii. The game cube is superior , has better games, better controlers. Just because so many people have got one don't mean it is the best. This is to be expected the same as low scores from the variety website. They are both extremely biased against anything PS3, with rare exceptions, like varietys MGS4 review. I find it quite amusing. Ultimately the only thing they are undermining is thier own authority, even a 360 fan boy couldn't quote an edge review credibly.

I read somewhere that Microsoft have already inflated their sales figures by including replacement consoles. If I was a 360 owner and had a large collection of games and my 360 died out of warranty, it would make sense to buy another especially with the price cuts etc, so ultimately their statistics will be enhanced by this situation.
I was ultimately disappointed with GTAiv because of the annoying repetitive friend stuff and the crap mini games. i got to the second island and stopped playing. I will wait for user feedback on future GTA releases. and the whole 360 exclusive DLC stuff smells of runny poo especially as it was Play station owners who made the company rich in the first place. I agree with darkside about the orange box, i played it on ps3 and thought it was superb , played through the whole thing which took weeks. Now i'm playing fallout 3 on ps3 which is the best game i have ever played in over twenty five years of gaming, the graphics are good and are often stunning (especially the ants). It's become a joke actually, scroll down to the bottom of 99% of metacritics scores for any PS3 game and there are variety and Edge with some ridiculous score, it makes me laugh at how predictable they are. variety are clearly biased I'm not sure about Edge.
