I remember reading up how the foundation laying Nintendo Entertainment System almost suffered a similar fate in the 1980s. My baby almost didnt make it with its first steps in NY. Luckily for me and all other elite gamers across the world it pulled through and became a monster success.

Playing as the boss would be nice. But thats not exactly what i was thinking about. Im talkin an entire new story with all new characters in the future. I would like it if the people from past Metal Gears were paid tribute to in the game at some point. Possibly through a flash back or someones story.

This should be an interesting game. Last time I checked snake was supposedly dead. So unless some type of magic went down we will likely be playing as someone else.
I actually want the snake era to end and start fresh with a brand new hero in the distant future. It is probably hard for konami to let go of what was already done but the end of metal gear 4 was full closure.
Maybe they can make a Metal Gear in the future starring a woman as the main character.

It makes me happy to see that all the Nintendo brethren of Europe that invested in Nintendo are being taken care of this late in the console life cycle. The Nintendo 3DS is out and Nintendo is doing whats right by gamers and continues the support of the original DS.

I understand where you are coming from. One game I dont have a problem putting my Wii mote down for is some good ol fashion HALO. My personal favorite FPS title since Unreal Tournament and Metroid Prime.
I agree %100 with the darker universe. Judging from the pics of HALO on the Waypoint app. Thats exactly what we will get.

My favorite of the bunch was Metal Gear 2. While 3 was an amazing game, part 2 holds a special place in my gaming heart.
The last hour on top of Arsenal Gear was one of the most epic gaming moments in history of the sport.
Im not sure if what he said about the Playstation Vita is accurate. I dont think you will have to buy any games twice. But I am happy about the great things he said about the Wii U. After seeing that controller in the hands of the man in the picture. I was reminded how great that console is going to be.
I hope every Nintendo supporter works very hard, even two jobs if need be to pick up a Nintendo Wii U. Even if it happens to be sold at the low price of 599 US dollars.
