Agreed!
The news was pretty positive actually
Happy Birthday to the grandfather of innovation himself
I believe shooters will be fine on the Nintendo Wii U entertainment system.
In the article it mentions that the PS3 has pressure sensitive triggers, but in reality most shooters on the PS3 make use of the R1 shoulder button to fire off shots. The only shooter I have played on PS3 that uses the triggers is Bioshock. So I believe this is one complaint against the Nintendo Wii U entertainment system that will be gracefully ignored. If you are one to actually switch the fire butt...

This is very good news for Nintendo
Many more than anyone including myself had probably expected. At this rate things are looking great for the future of third party offerings and exclusives in the future for the Nintendo Wii U entertainment system. Hopefully keeping many developers on board. As a consumer and fan, I could not ask for greater news. Looking forward to more positive results.

Everything looks nice as expected
Out of the gates Nintendo delivers another AAA quality exclusive offering. I had my eyes set on this gem from the very beginning when it was announced, and knew that it would come correct. Day one purchase for New Super Mario Bros U.
As YoungPlex stated above, the Super Mario World SNES throwback map is a blast from the past. Bringing a true feeling of nostalgia from the good ol days. Its warming to see that Nintendo has not forgotten where they came from, but also know where...
Im glad that our Japanese brethren are having a great time with Nintendo and Microsoft products. The Nintendo 3DS entertainment system and its many exclusives are dominating the charts, It is an honor to see that they made room within their busy schedules to support Halo 4. The shooter that I believe is the all around best from this generation. A true legendary Microsoft exclusive in the making.
For the most part things are looking healthy in the Japanese gaming realm, and I ...
I agree that Sony would take a loss at first. But developers desperately need a larger install base to sell their product. The latest Japanese hardware sales released today show that a price cut is needed sooner than later.

A price cut would likely cause the greatest boost of them all.
At the moment, the price is competing with home console offerings. As you mentioned above, including an 8 gig memory card would do the platform justice as well. The price point is probably making the device a hard sale for many a consumer. It tops off close to $300 after the much needed purchase of memory before the purchase of a single game.
A price slash would win over the hearts and cash flow o...
It seems that Nintendo has struck gold once more with the Nintendo Wii U entertainment system. From the many positive articles including this one, the Nintendo product line looks to have many lucrative years ahead of it. I am happy to see many returning Elite supporters putting their trust in Nintendo gaming once again. The better the sales, the likeliness of more third party dev support for our future investment. Launching first with an innovative quality product will play a large part in bo...
agreed
The sales of the Nintendo 3DS entertainment system have doubled within a week. Likely thanks to a few exclusive Nintendo releases that provided a major push for the platform. Everything seems to be going great for the industry leading hand held dedicated gaming device going further into the holiday shopping season. It seems that Nintendo had a strategic plan in place that paid off in the long run by spreading out exclusives, and releasing at key times to maximize profit and consumer demand. ...
I had no clue that Sony was that in a situation like that in Japan
From what it looks like from the article, Korean electronics have done a number on Sony products in Japan. Especially Samsung TVs. Pricing has swayed many a consumer away from the Sony product line. I mention that price is key a lot around here, and judging by this article I have been absolutely correct. This article may be longer than what most people are use to, or would want to read, but it has some very he...

I have a gaming PC that I rarely use. I think its about time to give it another spin.
fair enough
It would be interesting if he were employed by Ubisoft.
@snookies sorry for the edit..
The title said "can refuse" so I got confused. Maybe it was a typo but then again maybe it wasnt.
good point
It is good to see that the next generation of gaming has finally begun
My hat is tipped to all platforms within the current generation. This may have been the longest running Gen possibly ever. Lasting for the better part of 10 years without new hardware interrupting. Some enjoyed the long life cycles, some were ready for new platforms years ago. SO for those who have been sitting with their arms crossed waiting, the time has finally come.
The Nintendo Wii U ...
