The Nintendo Wii U having more then 1 gig of RAM is very good. It sounds like you should relax my fellow gamer. Alyx is an amazing woman in HL2. But to compare her in any type of way to Nintendo exclusive Samus is a slap to the face for the gaming industry as a whole.
I dont think you remember how long Samus has been taking care of business in the alien streets. Alyx showing up in a game does not put her anywhere near the same level as Samus.
I would love to see Alyx survive just one Metroid Prime game by herself.

Square needs to release Final Fantasy Versus 13. Hopefully they will change then name to Final Fantasy 15 if possible. It is almost an insult to associate V13 with the original 13. I am excited for E3 to see if the game has finally gone multiplat as I assume that it eventually will.
Maybe Nintendo supporters will get lucky and become blessed with a Nintendo Wii U version of Final Fantasy Versus 13.
