Thank you for the support. Halo has a considerable amount of story left from past present and the future of the Halo timeline. There are books, side characters, and sub stories like the Forward to Dawn mini series. Which all have potential to be transferred onto disc for your future gaming experience. The fight is far from over in the Halo universe.

That's very nice of them. Hopefully when the Final Fantasy 13 trilogy comes to a close, Square will go back to focus on the gaming experiences that the people have asked for. A proper home console traditional jrpg release will do Square Enix and the hopeful jrpg community great justice.

I remember viewing target render videos to Final Fantasy Versus 13 over half a decade ago. Back when this current generation was considered next generation. Still not even a trace of evide...

Excellent post, and it is very clear that I agree. I am honored to see another respect the greatness of Super Mario Galaxy.

Super Mario Galaxy is definitely deserving and worthy for its praise as highest rated gaming experience of all time. Super Mario Galaxy was created to as near perfection as a platformer can get. To spot on perfect level design, music, controls, and graphics for its respective platform.

Never have I played a game since Ocarina Of Time that pulls off near every aspect of gaming so flawlessly, until Super Mario Galaxy that is. Nintendo has created magic with this Nintendo Wii en...

Halo as of right now is the most popular first person exclusive shooter in the industry today.

At this point in time, no other home console exclusive first person shooter can match Halos loyal fan base. In just a weeks time, Halo 4 will likely surpass the install base of most non Halo shooter titles before and after its release. The question of "is Halo still popular" is almost of comedic value as Halo 4 has gone far beyond a million pre orders.

If ...

Rockstar and Nintendo will both be ok and come out alive from this. There is nothing to worry about.

The lack of native 1080p resolution for Nintendo Wii U entertainment system exclusive New Super Mario Bros U is unfortunate for those who care. But I personally feel that for a side scrolling title of this nature, a big deal does not need to be made over resolution. The Mario franchise has delivered top notch AAA quality gameplay experiences since the beginning of respectable gaming time. A few pixels and moderate resolution change will do nothing to hamper the success, quality or sales of th...

Nintendo 64 entertainment system exclusive The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time held the title for highest rated gaming experience of all time for nearly two decades. Nintendo set out to beat themselves at their own game by shattering their own expectation and standards with Nintendo Wii entertainment system exclusive Super Mario Galaxy. The leading platformer title of this generation. Now the highest rated gaming experience of all time. Something that each Nintendo supporter should be very p...

Many have been saying similar things for a good long time now. That the Nintendo Wii U entertainment system is a true next generation platform, and that later released competing platforms will not be highly or noticeably superior in graphical performance. There will be somewhat of a leap, but not as great as people unrealistically claim.

The price of the Nintendo Wii U entertainment system will undoubtedly force competing brands to offer a their next generation platforms at a...

I am pretty sure that quite a few will. Halo 4 looks to be the shooter of the year as of now.

You are right. Not even developers care about specs if the masses purchase their product.

This seems to be a very difficult balance and sensitive subject.

Everyone wants to talk the talk of wanting high specs, but nobody wants to pay for it. I am one of the minority that would pay a premium for pretty much any console if the games are there. I personally would say go with high specs and high price but usually a high price gets low sales. It is always the cheaper platform that enjoys the lucrative sales. Product moves from the shelves at a faster rate, while develo...

The Vita unfortunately seems to be struggling drastically. Hopefully its luck turns around...

I personally believe a price slash will give the platform a much needed boost, and put the vita in a competitive state. Also game releases dedicated to the Japanese, who are in fact the most supportive of the on the go gaming lifestyle.

As much as some wouldn't want to hear this. More user friendly casual experiences are long over due. Games that will appeal to t...

Everyone was afraid of putting Halo in the hands of a new development studio. Luckily they have not let us down. Keeping the title of greatest First Person Shooter franchise of all time.

The Xbox 360 has aged gracefully, even at the end of its lifespan the 360 is still able to produce industry leading gaming experiences. Possibly and likely game of the year quality. Halo 4 is finally here. Cheers to a good time.

Rated E For Everyone

Square Enix has been very good to Nintendo as of late. Recently releasing Bravely Default as a Nintendo 3DS entertainment system exclusive. Now recreating the greatness that is Dragon Quest VII. This is very big and important news toward the success of the Nintendo product line. Likely creating mass brand awareness in Japan, to be topped off by a rather large potential payday with chart topping sales.

A move like this is a smart strategic game plan to give our Japanese brethr...
