You are taking the convo to a dark place. New gaming experiences can and will be made for the Nintendo Wii U entertainment system. Just as any other console release, you see ports because this is the launch window. There are already many unique titles announced, and have been shown to the public. That is your problem if you choose to ignore them in favor of negativity. Have a good day.
Rated E For Everyone
If dev costs double, prepare to see many studios go under in the coming years. Only the most popular will Survive. Good luck and good fight to all.
The industry will be put in a position where it will be increasingly difficult to take risc, and innovate games. It seems that only shooters, and sports will be safe from dark times. New IPs will be looked at as taking a massive leap of faith. I hope for the sake of the industry that prices remain similar to develop.
Thank you for the support and positive attitude
I believe that Halo 4 is the superior gaming experience.
Though the COD franchise sees many sales with its multiplat annual release formula. Halo in my opinion has bested COD In terms of quality, story, graphics, and features since day one. Single player and multiplayer wise. For me personally Halo just offers much much more than COD for my hard earned money. The plethora of multiplayer game types, and 4 player co-op campaign can not be ignored.

That makes sense, I can understand why they would not want to spread their resources too thin. They would have too many active platforms on the market at once. Looking forward to seeing if they can provide their fan base with this massive graphical leap that I hear about often. Maybe we will see more during this upcoming E3 2013.
I believe that the real reason that they are taking an extended amount of time to debut the PS4 is due to pressure. Their fan base online for the mo...
Very good article
Most of my favorite gaming experiences of all time are graphically lacking by todays standards. And I still believe that they are greater than what is currently being released on the market today.
Titles like Unreal Tournament, Super Mario 64, Final Fantasy 7, Xenoblade Chronicles, Streets of Rage 2, Killer Instinct Gold, WWF Wrestlemania 2000, Skies of Arcadia Legends, Metroid Prime, Ocarina Of Time, Contra, StarFox 64, Gunstar Heroes, Resi...
I will personally be picking up the White basic. It has a more affordable price tag. Nintendo Land as a pack in may be good for some, but I would rather spend my money on New Super Mario Bros U, or ZombiU for my first title. Rewarding experiences to pass the time while waiting for Nintendo Wii U entertainment system exclusive Wonderful 101. I do prefer the color black for my gaming console, but my original Nintendo Wii entertainment system was a white launch model so I will keep to tradition....
This is positive news for Nintendo and Activision alike. Finally a Nintendo platform that harnesses enough mystic power to properly run the legendary COD franchise. Nintendo supporters no longer have to game in other realms to experience the true nature of COD. Now and well into the future Nintendo will be ready for what Activision throws at them.
The Nintendo Wii U entertainment systems advanced game pad functions bring a new world of connectivity to the COD franchise. For t...
They both scored very well
Surprised at this score
I have never been a fan of COD multiplayer since part 2. But I am looking forward to the Epic single player campaign.
Nintendo has once again gone the extra mile to provide consumer satisfaction and safety.
The Nintendo brand and product line has had a long and continuing history of great reliable products, and ease of use simplicity for all of their products. Always putting the consumer first, and taking care of our gaming needs to the best of their ability.
This new rounded proprietary disc sports rounded edges for ease of use, and to eliminate stress from our delicate gam...
The ports are there, but as of now there is much more unique AAA content available at the moment. At the end of the day nobody is safe from ports, you just need balance.
Interesting points and well said
I think the quality of the platform is fine. Only the price needs to be adjusted. Once the price is set appropriately, and lower than a home console offering, I predict the Vita flying off shelves and surpassing the weekly numbers of the original PSP.
Another pretty sizable factor is that I believe that there are too many PS3 ports, and not enough unique AAA content like Gravity Rush. Sony also needs to find a way to muscle back Monster Hunter to their platform for Japanese s...
That is good news because I have been a fan of the lost planet since the original. I will be more than happy to continue the frozen legacy on the Nintendo Wii U entertainment system.
I personally believed that the original Lost Planet was a greater product than the second offering. So I hope that the third puts up a better fight, even though it looks more like a Dead Space inspired game than a lost planet continuation.
I would also appreciate if the 4 player ...
I do believe that it will be a challenge for the Nintendo Wii U entertainment system to keep up with the momentum of older brother. But I also believe that every next generation platform will struggle to keep up with its predecessor. As it becomes increasingly difficult to enhance already standardized top notch HD visuals for an affordable price tag, many will not see it necessary to upgrade their platforms right away if at all.
The leap from current gen to next gen likely wi...
I disagree and believe that the standardized touch screen functions along with the rest of the bells and whistles will change the gaming landscape. The Nintendo Wii U entertainment system game pad is like the Swiss army knife of controllers, offering much more than just touch screen.
If the platform does well, it stands a chance to morph gaming in its favor forever. As of right now according to recent trends from competing platforms, I expect rival next Gen platforms to launc...
I believe that he is absolutely correct.
Ever since the merger, we the consumer have been delivered mild watered down gaming experiences when compared to what we played in the past. Back when we got legendary memorable titles that can stand the test of time. Titles that set the bar to such a height that newer offerings from just about anyone have a difficult time reaching. Games like Final Fantasy up until 10, and many many others before the merger.
I hope a...
I do personally believe that this is a letdown, but hopefully can be patched in sometime very soon.
Over the last 7 years I have grown accustom to the achievement system made popular by the Xbox 360. I had hoped that Nintendo would offer a similar system as standard from day one to avoid having to patch it in on some titles while leaving out others. I have learned within this current generation that tacked on options or accessories is usually not the proper way to do things. ...
That's a fair and respectable amount.
3.5 million in such a short amount of time will be good for business, and move alot of the properly developed launch titles from shelves from early adopters. Granting the Nintendo Wii U entertainment system a nice push boost toward a sizeable install base throughout 2013.
If Nintendo is correct with their prediction then this is a good sign for business. Which will effectively put the Nintendo Wii U entertainment syst...
