Yea who knows what will happen going into 2013, but as for multiplatform titles there are a few 3rd party exclusives in the mix as well. Rayman Legends, Wonderful 101, ZombiU, and Bayonetta 2 come to mind as of right now. I am sure there are many other 3rd party exclusives down the pipeline. With that said I don't believe it's fair to say that Nintendo is "resting its laurels". The platform has not even released yet and there is already a numerous amount of exclusive content...
@ LOGICWINS
I do admit that the commercials could have been a lot better, but this is studdering Craig. He has likely seen things way beyond any commercial, and what he had seen up till now just isn't his style.
Even with those commercials, I don't think Nintendo will have a hard time selling the platform. Word will quickly get around that Mario is not the only game available.
It is unfortunate that he thinks of it that way. I guess the great gaming crusade will have to carry on without him. Maybe an exclusive gaming experience will come along down the line to make him think otherwise.
Sounds like EA is playing it safe
Im guessing that many of their newer IPs sold well under expectations due to either poor performance, or the consumer going the usual rout and neglecting new experiences. Games like Kingdom of Amular are examples of a neglected experience. In a business point of view I don't blame EA for focusing on what works. It has been proven with other examples in the industry that too many active IPs and not enough sales can do massive damage to o...
This looks to by a very important and handy feature. For the first time in gaming history, the consumer can directly interact with the TV through a videogame controller. Literally making the good life a tad bit Easier for Everyone. To someone enjoying the Nintendo Wii U entertainment system alone, or involved in group activity in the living room. Removing the need for a TV remote for most reasons. A genius plan by the hard workers within Nintendo HQ, and hopefully a new standard for gaming a...
That is not good at all. Hopefully something is done about this quickly before it is too late.
Not quite sure if the TV division can be saved at this point. Lets just hope Sony's fortune changes in the gaming division, specifically hand held with the Vita. Which had seen some of its lowest sales numbers in its career in Japan since launch. Moving under 5000 last week in its home region. Though I am sure Sony has a plan in place to change their misfortunes.
1. Halo 4
2. Halo 3
3. Halo 1
4. Halo 2
5. Halo Wars
6. Halo Reach
7. Halo ODST
Very well said man
Well Said
It absolutely is
After playing through some of the single player experience, and extended up all nighter infinity multiplayer battles. It is safe to say that Halo 4 not only lives up to the hype, but has greatly surpassed my expectation with graphics, performance, great level design, and how fluid a shooter sporting all those traits can be. Even the voice acting turned out top notch, and brought to the table a higher quality of voice work, and emotion than past Halo experienc...
The Nintendo 3DS entertainment system is a greater success than I could have ever imagined. But as I have mentioned before, pricing is key. Its no secret that the Nintendo 3DS entertainment system had seen darker times when it was priced in the same realm of a home console experience, which was a mistake but swiftly corrected. Lowering to a more appropriate price, while releasing a mass attack of exclusive offering throughout the next year really pushed the industry leading dedicated on the g...
Very positive numbers and massive sales boost for the Nintendo 3DS entertainment system. Nintendo's industry leading dedicated gaming on the go device looks to perform beyond beyond my expectations during the overly competitive holiday season. I had no clue that the percentage increase over last week would be such a breath taking amount, but congrats anyway.
As we march closer to Christmas I do predict higher sales results for the Nintendo 3DS entertainment system as more...
Nice post and welcome back man
I agree that the PS4 is for sure going to best the Nintendo Wii U entertainment system in the graphical department. Just as the Xbox 720 likely will as well. The PS4 is launching a year minimum after the Nintendo Wii U entertainment system. Which obviously gives Sony much more time to take advantage of tech advanced innards that will become cheaper as time goes along. I am just very interested to see how far this graphical leap will be.
There are many factors that come into p...
I have not a clue at the moment.
Well said man, and I am also looking forward to Luigi's Mansion 2 as well.
Im guessing that it is due to high impact heavy traffic
For millions around the gaming world. The launch of a main Halo title is looked at as a national gaming holiday. I have personally witnessed many call in sick from work, skip school, and literally put priority aside for the day one Halo experience. Things look to be no different in this case.
Rated E For Everyone
When I had first seen this crafty Nintendo 3DS entertainment exclusive last E3. I knew that Nintendo was on to something rewarding. I heard a lot of flack about "yet another Mario game", but as usual in the world of gaming. Mario has once again delivered in AAA fashion.
Paper Mario Sticker Star will play a heavy part in the future success of the Nintendo 3DS entertainment system holiday and beyond arsenal of Nintendo exclusives. I am happy that Nintendo remains dedi...
I believe Halo 4 is the most graphically advanced title this Gen when considering everything that it does on screen at once.
Halo 4 is the only title that I can think of that brings to the table unscripted AI, vehicles, open vistas and landscapes, all brought in a non gray and brown war torn color tone. Everything just looks beautiful, especially when considering all of the things mentioned above.
As of now Halo 4 is the only title on HD platforms that I have...
Out of all compared platforms, I believe that the Nintendo Wii U entertainment system offers the best launch game experiences by far. Covering just about all genres with everything from multiplats, 3rd party exclusives, down to Nintendo 1st party offerings. This is the 1st time in history that I have seen a launch lineup of this magnitude.
Nintendo looks to have done their homework on how to launch a console properly. Platforms in recent memory have had this idea to launch wi...
