Haha love some of the comments here. Oh noooessss the *insert console* version will look slightly worse when put under a microscope. Who cares. Square Enix really messed up with these images - power to the author of the article, this kind of practice should be looked down on.
That said - buy the game if you enjoy the series/genre! There will be BARELY any noticeable difference in either of the versions when your simply sat there playing it. Buy it on your platform of choice and...
This was on tuesday..
Sigh no context to this article. This just means they'l be charging for a web auction house service, no doubt the ability to make bids from the iphone etc will cost a little bit. Not really a major deal.
It's crysis. Pretty fail attempt! We'll have to wait til tomorrow to see some real gameplay.
Found it. Neat option :)
Preferred kesvalk's version of the 'badass'
Are these only for the PC version? I never noticed a Code Input on the 360 version...
Good stuff 2K, both look pretty much identical. Any very minor differences just simply wouldn't be noticed when playing.
I have to agree with this too. The review speaks about the multiplayer for example for literally 1 paragraph and barely touches on any of it. It seemed like the reviewer clearly just didn't enjoy the game from the offset (fair enough) but then barely even gave it a chance.
I've been loving the MP demo after putting some time into it, initially I had very poor impressions but it completely grew on me, and fast! PC version preordered :)
Multiplayers the best bit. I have no doubt the sp will be distinctly average, with them being split across doing 3 campaigns it's bound to suffer. And by the sounds of this review the guy barely touched the MP, he writes a small paragraph on it.
Marine players quit...? Not seen this myself. Considering you choose your species.
I've been loving the MP demo. Initially my impressions were super negative but it takes a few hours to actually learn how to play each race, then things start to get ALOT more fun. Problem is the demo is only deathmatch. Me and a buddy have done some team up matches with 6 players, where 3 marines vs 3 aliens and just simply be careful not to hit each other with it still being deathmatch :P It's great fun! Theres not much else out there like it for multiplayer
It seems the revi...
Maybe Uncharted 2's facial animation has spoilt me but I felt after playing the Heavy Rain demo that the Jayden character had a very 'last gen' vibe to just the way he animated and the way his face looks (not from a technical standpoint last gen, clearly!). Shelby however was quite a step up from Jayden. Was this just me?
Great to finally see the game running. Certainly looks like it needs work but thats to be expected from pre-alpha. Whats there is definitely looking good :) Can't wait!
Both look pretty much identical! Only difference is the 360 looks abit washed out but thats clearly a TV setup thing and not the game, as I know for certain when I played the demo on 360 it wasn't that washed out.
Good work on Rebellions behalf for making them both look the same :)
Go read forums and see what people think. You'll see the majority have a similar opinion.
For reference this is 1 million forum accounts, not subs.
Simple - it's got the Star Trek name on it. Imagine if it was their own property, the game would fall flat so hard straight from the beginning. That said, the real test is after the first month or 2. When that ends I have no doubt the numbers will completely drop off.
Indeed it is. The PS3 version has no Anti Aliasing whatsoever, but the 360 natively does some, so that alone will make things look abit better. But overall the way you can tell is simply the fact all the main trailers are built up of 360 footage, generally speaking theres a reason for that.
But who cares, no doubt you'll barely notice the differences when your actually playing. Just buy the game on whichever console you own!
Haha knew the score before reading. Played the game back in closed beta and open beta and was unimpressed completely both times. Just feels extremely bland. Will pick it up on the cheap sometime
After loosing my account to hackers it took NCSoft over 3 weeks to get it back to me, during this time I had 2 weeks and a half of NO contact whatsoever from them. I was forced to create a second ticket just to get them to answer my first. I shall not be supporting NCSoft with Aion or any future titles.
To compare a buddy of myn over the past few years has lost his WoW account and Aion account. With WoW it took him a 10 minute phonecall and boom he had all his stuff back and so...
