I got a year sub with fileplanet for £10 back at their anniversary. It's served as pretty useful! And now after filling out that survey to get in the beta they've given a free month subscription as reward.
Game have owned Gamestation since 2007, I dont think thats the reason somehow.
Servers wont even be online yet so not a big deal. I'm getting it for £26 from Amazon. Can't wait :)
'Official closed beta' - I've been in the beta for a good few weeks now, this has most certainly not just launched. Without breaking the NDA all I can say is I was really really dissapointed, but i'll still keep my eye on the game as you never know.
Website conveniently stops working, and the author 'cant upload the file' that the site apparently downloads :P I see no other news site has spotted this other than this unknown fansite. Sorry but it sounds like a plee for hits to me.
That said, I do believe GTA5 is coming. And it wouldn't surprise me to see it at this years E3, considering the tech etc is already built from 4.
Lmao Blockbuster know all the secrets. It's quite obviously a mistake. It very well may come to PS3 down the line but I don't imagine ANY retailers have solid confirmation on that this early on. Your talking months and months away if it does show it's head on PS3, as in end of this year/early next. Microsoft will have secured at least a solid timed exclusivity window.
Well considering said developer has done work with the Wii-mote and the Arc is very similar to a Wii-mote in it's motion style then it's pretty obvious he'd prefer it.
All Peggle games are well worth the money
Great game, recommend all to get it. I've just got the 360 DLC version as I already had the PC one on my last PC, not bothered to get it again yet. Call me a big peggle fan but I have the game on PC, DS and 360. For some reason playing it on different platforms feels like it's new levels, even though it clearly isnt. Or maybe thats just Peggle being Peggle....
Having played all these games (other than Heavy Rain) after getting my PS3 almost entirely for KZ2 (only to be terribly let down) I have to agree with pretty much all those scores. Only one I disagree with is InFamous, that game was absolutely awesome.
Using the entire review scale that is, not the 7-10 score range almost all the big mainstream media sites now use.
It's a guys opinion at the end of the day. It seems some of the games negative points simply affected the reviewers experience more than others. The voice acting is indeed seriously spotty and pulls you out the experience. His main complaint seems to be as an actual 'game' its mechanically poor, but praises its ambition etc. Sounds fair enough to me, I may not agree with it, but can see the reasoning.
Hoping these havn't gone out yet as I have nothing at the moment! Fingers crossed! I signed up the day sign-ups opened.
The game was hugely dissapointing at launch but Funcom have most certainly done some good work improving it. By no means is it a must-by but its certainly a solid MMO now. Be interesting to see if the 360 version has the expansion content already in there.
Lol barely. Get it on a PC and whack it up to full and it looks extremely nice. Not every game that comes out has to look up to Uncharted 2 standards or something.
Anyone who thinks the 360's DVD size is the reason for content cuts is blind. It's quite obvious Capcom made cuts to simply offer the content as paid DLC down the line, and not because of any restrictions. This is sadly a common practice in gaming today.
Giantbomb and 1up.com are currently streaming the game live. Really hoping to get my hands on with this. Have any EU Battle.net guys here managed to get in yet?

I got a mate of myn who today feels like this is just another nail in the coffin on behalf of Sony and has genuinely cancelled his FF13 PS3 preorder and re-ordered on 360. I personally reckon he'll switch his preorder back, but it wouldn't surprise me if some pissed off people did certainly switch their preorders in a blind rage - let's be honest, theres people out there like that!
