Article is pretty pointless...theres only 1 game in the entire 360 library that I know of as NOT being 'optimized' for the optional install - Halo 3. I install pretty much all my games when I get them. A quiet drive and speedier load times are always nice.
I can confirm this is true. I needed to fire over proof of reciept of my purchase of APB and they will let me pick a Digital Download game from the EA store - no preorders though. My choice was Dragon Age Awakening, still waiting on the reply e-mail.
The thing is alot of gamers had gametime and RTW points on their account when the game went kaput - that could pretty much be seen as stealing.
1 Guy with a statement like that compared to the streams and streams of those made on the other side of the fence.
That said it's pretty hard to tell if he isn't just saying it for a laugh to get a reaction, or if he's deadly serious. If the latter then bless his cotton socks :)
The sad thing is I don't think the company has ever been more profitable than they are now. Can't stand the guy though.
I'm almost certain it says on a form you accept that EA have the right to close down the servers after 30 days.
Personally I've been loving it. Slammed about 8 hours in so far over Singleplayer, Coop and the TIR Multiplayer mode. Such a fun game. If you enjoyed Case Zero you'll have a ton of fun with it. I'll definitely be playing it through multiple times both in coop and solo, the fact your character progress carries across saves is great, and with the timelimits it's impossible to get everything done in 1 playthrough which I really like.
It's been a while sinc...
I'm guessing the sole reason for the disagrees is that you said something negative about the PS3 version of a title.
It's a playlist update...
No you wont see achievements due to a playlist update, that'l just happen. Bungie.net shows you when the playlist updates will show up. No patch will be required, they'l just show up in your playlists much like they do with MW2
Looks pretty intentional to me, Bungie are like that. They like to slip little sly hints into things.
Awesome, we have articles comparing games to their adverts now, i'm sure that makes for an exciting unpredictable conclusion.
It's not that logic doesn't exist on N4G matey it's that theres so many PS3 fanboys on here it doesn't matter if Sony fondled their daughters they'd still worship the ground they walk on.
So your trying to tell me people genuinely care why one random dude isn't going to renew his Xbox Live? Should I go write an article about why I'm not going to renew my subscription to PSN+ and World of Warcraft just so I can get hits? No. Stop feeding utter crap on here which is clearly written in an attempt to get hits.
Cheer for the 10 PS3 fanboys which hit disagree in rage. Who gives a shit why 1 guy isn't renewing his subscription to Xbox Live. About as interesting as me writing on article on why i'm not renewing my subscription to LoveFilm.
I'll be playing on XBL, PSN, and Steam whilst this guy makes his 1-man stand in sticking it to the big guy. Way to go!
I never read the article, hence why I didn't care. I'm sick of seeing these articles on N4G.
Noone cares
Indeed thats the truth. FF14 really caters to fans of FF11, anyone who didn't like 11 is simply not going to enjoy 14 either. A large amount of the gameplay is almost identical to 11, with a new coat of paint. Come Cataclysm WoW's sub numbers will peak once again and those who went to other MMO's out of bordemn will come flocking back, its just how it is.
Simple answer - Not even in the slightest...
Thats not the case, Aion was simply down to preordering to recieve the headstart - I was in it. Warhammer Online was a 2 day headstart for preordering the CE over the standard.
I wouldn't really say the differences are substantial, but noticeable when put side to side.
Whats disappointing is just how much of a letdown this game is :( Looks like UFC2010 will hold the MMA gaming crown until next year.
