I've never had that issue BulletTooth. What I recommend is to try sticking with it abit. I know back at the start of beta it was just frustrating dieing so easy and whatnot. But once you get a feel for the game you'll start racking up the kills and the difference is astounding. Constantly making a push up the map is a really rewarding experience. Make sure to place offensive killchains smartly so that the whole team can advance too. Playing with friends certainly helps too
From my experiences with the beta I found it to be the complete opposite of that... Combat Mission mode requires the teams to constantly be pushing, if you camp you just simply won't win.
Gamespot are complete fail now. Ever since they lost Jeff the rest of the respectable staff left. Now they're left with no big personalities, terrible site design, and consistantly late content compared to other sites.
CVG praising the multiplayer and not so much the singleplayer, and these guys praising the singleplayer and not so much the multiplayer. Interesting.
Since when was 8 out of 10 not good...
Pity the new look doesnt come with the old crew.
People are throwing out crap like the Move is almost as accurate as a mouse. The difference is, it's not a mouse. It does not function in the same way. A mouse you move along a pad, the Move you must point and move around the screen. Whether it's accurate or not doesn't change the logistics of the controller itself. It's simply not a superior form of aiming for an FPS.
But the thing is that was never it's intention. Sony can chuck it in core games all t...
Map looks great. So letdown that this has been delayed in the UK too. Anyone know anywhere well priced to get it from Germany and import to the UK?
Not at all. I don't agree with paying to test software for companies. The only other real benefit of PS+ is the 'free' (basically rented) content, but lets be honest if you actually wanted the content in the first place you would have bought it.
Don't expect to see any PS3 betas for us normal users unless distributed by third-parties now.
Yeah paying to test software for companies is such an awesome deal. /endsarcasm
Anyone got an invite? I've been signed up for the beta on both platforms since the day sign-ups opened, but nothing yet.
There are many people who have hit the cap already, whats to say he hasn't? When a journalist gets a game allocated to them they spend all their time playing that game.
Also if an MMO is crap 50 hours in then it's not magically going to get better when the issues lie within core serious elements of the it. Everything negative in this review isn't something which will change as you level higher.
I think the problem lies that this game is actually too close to FF11. It's like a game from 7 years ago that looks pretty but is unfinished and buggy. The whole game is riddled with things that get in the way for the sake of getting in the way, it's just plain and simple bad design.
So i have to play through 300 hours of shit to get to 'the game really starting'? Thats not how you make a good game. Infact i've heard a ton of talk of people who've maxed out and have nothing to do.
Question is though if you were running the business and could charge millions for the content you'd say no?
I doubt this was even ever said. Probably just made up by a site to get hits, and hey they succeeded. But even if it was as others have stated the game is over a year away. If the April launch was still planned then it'd still have 6 months left in development - bugs would be expected!
Then the article here needs updating too to prevent everyone spamming posts of 'its out!'
Not to mention Costume Quest and Super Meat Boy are hitting on the same day at 1200 each, that hits the 2400 in one day making those two games effectively cost 800 each - awesome :D
Think i'll be picking up this too, love Twisted Pixel's stuff however I am currently waiting on a late review copy.
Not sure about this. I picked up the game for my brother for £20 a month after it had launched - thats a crazy quick drop in price. Also constantly heard people saying Sony were dissapointed with the sales it was getting. That said I really think the franchise deserves more attention, releasing in a less busy period can only be a good thing for it.
PC is always going to trump the console verison. That said with Gothic the large difference between the two is more down to a rushed console port. I seriously worry about the PS3 version and how that'll turn out, as everyone knows how rushed development processes turn out on the hardware. It's a real shame the devs didn't put in the time to truly optimise the game for both consoles, it's a nice looking and enjoyable title.
So far I don't think i've e...
