It'll be interesting to see how this pans out, given the way internal politics and tribalism tends to be at these big companies.
Terrible music accompanying a terrible video from a terrible company.
Hopefully a return to form.
There are lunatics everywhere, I guess.
Disgusting. It's especially dumb because Rooster Teeth are so irrelevant than only people actually within the fandom would care enough to attend their convention.
I think the brand's strong enough to last them a few more years.
They have their work cut out for them. The course change happening quickly has meant the damage done is limited, but it's easier to lose good will than to earn it.
While I'm sure a lot of the complaints won't resonate with the few that hold this series in high regard, it isn't surprising that it's been poorly received. Leisure Suit Larry is a relic of a time gone by.
Suits can be that stupid, yep.
Maybe they should discourage this practise by cutting out all the bullshit involved with breeding good critters instead of making empty noises like this.
It's a real long shot unless they can find a way to raise awareness of the thing. £806 for a Kickstarter that began 22/06/13 is *bad*.
It's alright so long as you have co-op buddies. Scales atrociously, so 2 or less players can expect a much harder and less enjoyable experience.
EA love money. All PS4 has to do is not sell terribly and it'll get Titanfall eventually. I think this's true even if Microsoft tries to buy total exclusivity since EA wants to top CoD, and they've no hope of getting the mindshare or sales to do so on one platform.
While anonymous sources can absolutely be legit, this wouldn't comprise a representative sample even if true. And in an era of astroturfing and ubiquitous viral marketeers, should be taken with a grain of salt.
I play on and off. Kat <3
This should be a standard feature in every game. There's no reason not to do it. I don't care if you've worked out an optimal layout, if I want iron sights on X and shoot on Square, I should be able to have that. And it shows due consideration to people who've physical issues with using inputs in the intended ways.
This guy is what, co-founder of the studio? Central role in forming the narrative in every well-received Silicon Knights?
Story's toxic even if he's not guilty. May as well bury Shadows of the Eternals now.
This decision was clearly made on the basis of poor sales numbers for Black Ops 2. This can be attributed in large part to the fact there's hardly any new players jumping into CoD; it's the same crowd it always has been. So people are sticking to their existing hardware and friend list instead of taking a chance on a new platform. It has nothing to do with the quality of Nintendo first party titles, which don't cater to CoD's audience, nor with the "intelligence" of ...
I'm saying that starting with the best game in the series will make the hype for the rest of it seem ridiculous
Most developers, after *four* complete bombs, would either engage in serious introspection, re-evaluate and amend their development philosophies, or else be at risk of getting shuttered. Somehow Ninja Theory have managed to avoid both and continue to sucker in major publishers, who waste enormous amounts of money funding NT's vanity projections. It's galling that a company with so toxic an attitude towards gameplay-first development continues to see such strong support.
