Yeah, PC versions are often just lazy ports from 360 versions. But occasionally, something like Mass Effect comes along and is actually much improved on a PC.

Haze, to me, felt unfinished. It felt like a game still in beta that never got the extra few months of polish and tweaking at the end. It had some good ideas, but those were overshadowed by the "at best mediocrity". It just felt like a game that could have been great if properly developed and fleshed out.

Yeah, that's a pretty BS story. Larrabee at the moment is nothing but the smoke Intel is blowing up people's rear ends. All I've seen is but a 10-cored CPU designed for massive data-parallel processing. While that has some initial promise with it's interesting design, no one has given the thing a proper run up against anything NVidia and ATI are doing.
If that unproven thing made it into the PS4, it'd only because of Intel's deep pockets, not because of good, proven hardware.

You know, the aspect of respawning checkpoints to me was one of Far Cry 2's flaws. Not that the enemy checkpoints should never respawn, but definitely not at the speed in which they do. You can literally blow the crap out of a checkpoint with grenades and RPG's, drive past to finish the quick mission, and then on your way back everything has been neatly replaced with both men and equipment like nothing had ever happened. All within a couple of hours game time.

I hear what you're saying, but I didn't see any kind of innovation coming from these guys, judging by trailers. Even good use of the Wiimote isn't really innovating. It's no different than let's say, the COD controls feeling really good as compared to Hour of Victory. And besides, Metroid Prime 3 played fantastically.
While I agree about the Wii is being loaded with shovelware, I still don't see all these great 3rd party titles you speak of. Yeah, there are a few I've enjoyed suc...
Hm. I do understand his point about game budgets getting higher and higher. It's a large part of why so many devs are going for the "actiony" genres, like GTA, Gears, COD, etc.
But at the same time, he's criticizing developers for "seeing dollar signs", yet he is helping to create a FPS, a genre which is already extremely bloated with cash-in games.

I don't particularly care if someone is biased towards one thing or another. I can enjoy or not enjoy a game/system independent of the ideas of other people.
I do care, however, about someone trying to earn the respect of the masses through his writing, but not even taking the time to properly learn the English language. Maybe instead of that extra match of Halo 3, he should occasionally try reading a grammar book.

Well, I would think because those two were handicapped by time. They were late getting into the contest, so they got to tag team in order to catch up.
But for me, this really goes to show how sad the moralistic values in this country are. We can shoot, stab, burn, blow up, decapitate, and generally murder anyone or anything in a game or movie, but when it comes to something completely natural like sex, it is completely taboo and restricted.
