Mixed feelings personally, as much as I loved both games I felt I had had enough of Infamous by the end of the game........having said that, if they make another I would definately buy it, one of the most overlooked games series of this generation in my opinion.
After my experiences with the 360 I dont think I will buy the next gen hardware from Microsoft until I am satisfied that it will not break every couple of months (I went through 3 in the first year!).
I have a feeling, rightly or wrongly, that Microsoft know that they need that headstart over Sony again and so would not be suprised if they release earlier than people expect.

I have not bought a game from a store for years as they always charge close to RRP for their games, I get all my games (2-3 a month) exclusively from online games retailers, 95% of the time from Shopto.net
I have never understood why people use Gamestop etc as you can ALWAYS get a better deal if you shop around online.
Always loved the portrayals of a gamer in Spaced. Not sure if this British comedy was aired in the US but you should check it out. An episode with him playing Resident Evil 2 (relevent when the show was made) sticks in mind as very funny.

I import this every year (for last 4 years). Its not just the best baseball game, its the best sports game bar none and if taken on merit probably deserves to be included in game of the year considerations.

Well I can say that the reason I decided that I wanted Uncharted more that BF3 and then COD is out just down the line for a FPS fix.
Some of my buddies feel the same, we all desparately want to play BF3 however we will just wait a few months until we are bored of COD - Uncharted is unmissable and this was the major factor in us skipping BF3 for the timebeing.

Seems a shame to me that this game will go largely un-noticed being released amongst such heavy competition. I cannot wait for this either, at least thats 2 sales Capcom can rely on - see you in the air :)

I tend not to trust individual reviews but surely anyone can see that a game that has such a wealth of positive reviews MUST be a good game.
I played the first two games before my third 360 died on me and loved them, but now game exclusively on my PS3. I sat and watched my son play GOW3 for twenty minutes or so the other night and it took all of my will power not to go out and buy another 360 - the game looked incredible.
I seriously doubt you have played the Ratchet & Clank games nor Resistance3, so you cannot possibly back this comment up!
I think a BIG factor that shouldn't be under estimated is that Resistance shipped on the same day as another very desirable game called Dead Island.
The fact is there is often more choice on the PS3 and so sales tend to be spread accross the games released in a given period.
I was lucky enough to get both games and I am really enjoying both but when you look at the available figures there were 250,000+ copies of Dead Island sold and another 250,000+ sales...
I read through this thinking there were some new announcements but the entire press release is just retreading old news. No matter how you dress this, the only software they can shout about is Gears and Forza.
Microsoft claiming that they are delivering amazing core games and then listing multiplatforms is misleading in the extreme, Microsoft are delivering nothing, the 3rd parties are delivering the software to all formats. This is just classic M$ misdirection.
I have owned a 360 at various stages over the past 5 years and if I could have any games on the PS3 the only ones I would like are:
Gears - loved the first gears and enjoyed the second
Forza - I really loved Forza, as a PS3 fan I recommend to any racing fan that they play Forza 3, really top game.
PGR - Project Gotham Racing is up there with my fave arcade racers, soooo much fun.

I think the idea of 'best console ever made' is subjective.
If you are talking about power or potential then for me, and this is just my opinion, the PS3 seems to have more to offer here.

Yeah, I cannot help but feel that GOW3 didn't get the sales it deserved on release, I am so pleased that it continues to sell well. I don't like that style of game but bought it on the strength of the demo.
I am so glad I did, I have finished it 3 times now and each time it astounds me, I dont think I have played anything with as much polish even now - amazing game, and in my opinion the best exclusive on PS3.

Picked mine up a few days ago for just £16 at Shopto and have to say I was blown away. I am only around 10 hours in but seem to of barely touched the map, this game looks huge!
Love the art style, great music and the gameplay is so much better than Skyrim. I cannot comment on the story really because I have only done 1 quest in the main story, I have spent 10 hours on side quests and am having a blast.
