What a non story, who honestly expected 1080P?
I wouldn't be surprised if we can pick up a 1080P version for our PS4/XB1 in 8 months to a year's time though.
Early in the generation they used to be taken as gospel but once MS figures began to be surpassed by Sony the figures were declared inaccurate.
Generally they are not the most accurate but do reflect the general trends quite well.
Yup, congrats! That's quite a week you'll be having :)
Little tip from someone who has raised two ankle biters, buy a small rocking crib so you can rock it with your foot so you remain hands free :)
You are going to have a lot of long sleepless nights, might as well get some gaming in ;)
Yup, Sony was much more impressive as far as I am concerned.
The fact that they are still supporting their PS3 even going forward into the next generation is something that I really appreciate.
I own a VITA already and despite the negative press I have always had a great time with it. It has some of the best RPG's I have played and I am spoiled for choice as far as games are concerned, I have never understood the 'it has no games' argument that s...
I refuse to pay the price that is charged for digital copies of games.
I know that my PreOrder with Shopto will be with me the day before release and will be cheaper than the RRP.
I hate getting gouged on digital games, as far as I am concerned they should be a damn sight cheaper than a retail copy, but they never are!
Looks like a great game and I will pick it up on PC for sure.
They have said Q1 of next year for this, I would be pretty sure this will slip a little too (the most anticipated games always do sadly!) so quite why people would pre order an XB1 now for November when the game might not see the light of day for another 6 months or more is very odd I think.
I still haven't forgiven MS for all their shenanigans over the last 6 months and I am making my voice he...
Still have a lot of fond memories of Nintendo so hope things pick up for Wii U as I am on the fence right now.
A few more good games and I may well pull the trigger.
You are far, far, FAR from a hardcore gamer if you are discounting the indie scene.
I love good games full stop. Some of the most fun I have had over the last year was playing Mark of the Ninja on my PC and Hotline Miami, Limbo and Guacamelee on my VITA/PS3.
Combined with the awesomeness that is Battle Field 3 on my PC, The Last Of Us and Ni No Kuni on my PS3 I think that it is this kind of variety that denotes a keen gamer (hardcore gamer sounds kinda stupid...
Great news if you are pre ordering a XBO but I find MS very frustrating.
They would have had to spend an awful lot of money to pull this off and I personally would have preferred that they invest in 1st party games.
3-4 years from now we will be in the same position we are in now, nothing fresh or new from MS while Sony continue to pump out exclusives.
It will be interesting to see if this is enough to tempt consumers into buying a XBO but I ...
Blimey, you really are misinformed aren't you chief?
There are a couple of good exclusives on PC for sure, but to say that Nintendo only make kiddie games is one of the most stupid things I have ever heard!
Have you ever played a console game, because it sure doesn't sound like if from the way you are talking.
I have been a gamer for over 25 years and have been gaming on PC for 15 years and I am telling you now, some of the best games...
Yup, Rain is another game that looks amazing. There is still so much to look forward too with the PS3 I cannot see me packing it away for a good year after the PS4 releases!
Have had my pre-order in place a for a long while, super excited for this.
My second most anticipated game on PS3 after The Witch and The Hundred Nights, there are still so many great games to come on PS3, fair play to Sony, they never fail to deliver where games are concerned!
Not quite sure why your opinion should matter more than mine, I can only assume you are some how have inside access to Sony's corporate plans....your a lucky, lucky boy, do you know that?!
I have had a feeling for a long while now that Sony are still to play their trump card(s).
I have been telling my buddies for while that I could see no point in Sony being so secretive about the launch date unless their was some sort of surprise, such as an earlier release than anticipated.
I have been saying October since E3, god I hope I am right :)
You know, you can make a point with out getting personal and acting like a child....just an observation.
By the way, I am not sure what you mean by "consoles dying out while the PC makes more money", care to clarify?
What a stupid question!!!
Whats next? Oxygen, is it a good thing?
Thank god its not just me!
I think they need a clear out as there is not a single MS exec I like or trust.
Every time I see this guy he just comes across as a smug prat. I cannot put my finger on what it is about this guy and the likes of Mattrick because I am sure that they are really decent people.
They just come across poorly and seem to address the audience as if they are 13 year old's that they have to appear 'cool' in front...
Yup, LA Noire has to be near the top for me, especially when dogshit like Omerta is included in this list....very poor!
Doesn't seem like a cash in too me as you have the option of buying a retail copy of the game.
When they release the retail version and then a few weeks later release characters as further DLC that's when you move into 'cashing in' territory! :)
Fuss over nothing anyway, this game is never going to do mega numbers, its good that fighting games have had a bit of a resurgence recently but already people are buying them in less and less quantiti...
Respawn won't be interested in being bought by MS, not after how things turned out for Zampella and West after getting mixed up with Activision.
When you look at how MS handled their 1st party studios over the last 3 years Respawn I think Respawn would be even less likely to sell up to MS even if they hadn't had the bad experience with Activision.
Just my 2 cents
