If I could choose for news of any game to be revealed it would have to be Last Guardian, really need to see more of that game.
When the author states "See, and there you were saying "well, the Xbox 360 is surely dead this year!" Now who's the sucker? It's you. You're the sucker" it makes me want to scream!!!
Why aren't more people bothered at the lack of exclusives, there has not been a fresh exclusive for as long as I can remember on 360, just the same few (admittedly great) franchises. The last one I really enjoyed was Mark of the Ninja I think.
...
As much as I love the Metal Gear Solid games I am getting a little fed up of all the re-releases the games get.
How many times can Kojima sell the same games, they were amazing in their day but having recently played the HD collection again I have to say the gameplay has dated and it was as much nostalgia as anything that made me complete them again.
I say this as a true Sony fan, I am not bashing the series I am simply suggesting that they were groundbreakin...
I added to their sales last month as I had to replace my sons XBOX360 for the 3rd time - not a happy bunny!!!
Worse than that was having to listen to a load of rubbish from the clerk at Curry's who insisted on telling me how great M$ are - really wasn't in the mood to hear that when having to cough up another £190 :(
Should point I have had to buy 2 PS3 in the same time period too.....grrrr!
Ultimately no matter what Nvidia's real reasons are for not coming to an agreement with Sony I think the way Nvidia have behaved is extremely undignified and unprofessional.
I think whoever is in charge of their PR department needs firing and the get someone in to clean this whole spectacle up - its quite pathetic!
I never get too carried away with proof of concept stuff, especially from M$.
For me the Kinect still has yet to achieve any of the concept guff that was promised - the Kinect is shit for proper gaming.
This does look cool, but I will wait and see after getting burned with the Kinect.
Putting gaming allegiances aside, I for one will be delighted to see M$ taken to the cleaners. They have used bully boy tactics on anyone who stood in there way for decades.....will find it satisfying to see them on the receiving end for once!
A new Crash Bandicoot, a decent Spiro game and a franchise I loved from PS1 was Vandal Hearts
Yup, the Michael advert was new to me and loads of my work mates who I just shared it with - it blew everyone away.
I cannot fault Sony on the quality of there ads, its just the lack of airtime the ads get that I don't understand.
Anyway, just going to watch Michael ad once more before bedtime :)
That "Michael" advert is easily the coolest I have seen, but it highlights the problems with Sony's strategy because I have never seen that before it was mentioned in this thread.
I have not seen that used anywhere in the UK and it was so awesome, made me want to play all my PS3 games at the same time :)
I agree, I picked up Shadows of the Damned when it was cheap but will get this on the day of release this time purely because I want to support the devs this time around.
I have already spotted for a very reasonable £25 so feel happy that I am getting a good game for a fair price.
I am keen to have a knock about on this game, as someone who was 11-12 years old when the original hit the arcades and then spent hours playing the home versions on my Commodore 64 I am excited to relive those good old days.
I quite like art style, it has a real kitsch aesthetic that is modern while still harking back to those 8 bit days of the original.
All I know is I loved Shadows of the Damned, another game that was over looked by the masses and given very mixed reviews.
I cannot lie and say I wish Lollipop wasn't longer, but as long as the game is good fun and has all the quirkiness of Shadows of the Damned then I will be happy to pick it up and play through it a few times.
I quite enjoyed the demo and have seen a lot of the multiplayer in various videos and think the overall package looks decent.
I have a bit of a backlog of games to pick up but if I see this for the right price I will definately pick it up. While I agree it looks a little generic, tonally some of the themes seem more 'grown up' and so I feel the story may deliver more that you might think.
Trade Marks have nothing at all to do with domain names. If you have a trade mark then you must be able to demonstrate that you are using it for the goods or services you applied for otherwise a 3rd party could apply for invalidation of the mark.
I am not sure what rules apply to the use of domain names but I am pretty sure they dont enjoy the same level of regulation as intellectual property such as trade marks, copyright or patents.
I am sure that if M$ ju...
I am willing to keep an open mind at this stage because as a gamer I feel I have really missed out as I havent played the Mario games available on Wii.
I was quite impressed with what I saw of the Wii U but it will ultimately boil down to what games are available and sadly if they only have Mario on offer that might not be enough to tempt me into buying the WiiU (as with the Wii in this generation).
Gravity Zero looks the business.
My biggest gripe isnt with the hardware, I just cannot bring myself to pay £35 on a game when I can by the latest game for my PS3 instead
I dont beleive the VITA is gimmiky in itself, it just provides lots of options for developers.
I am nut sure what Moly is talking about here, he cannot be referring to the dual sticks so can only think he is referring to the dual touch surfaces? Again, touch screens are hardly gimicky in this day and age.
Its a bit rich that he works on the Kinect with no such qualms and then makes this bonehead statement!
He is becoming les and less relevan...
Hopefully it will see an earlier release in the US and I will import it instead - so excited for this game!
Well I loved Alan Wake when it eventually turned up so am quite excited to see what comes of this game.
Having said that, I think that the reveal was dreadful - the switch from live action to CGI was really jarring to me.
On the subject of the box art, it is a little generic looking but still a nice piece of art that I only wish I had the talent to knock up.
EDIT - having looked again, as others have said - his head is way to big for that bod...
