"But it does not make it worse either."
That's hardly a ringing endorsement. The gameplay was simple and repetitive, and making good graphics better isn't going to make a bad game more fun to play.
Thank you. That was the first thing that went through my head when I read that sentence.
"If you've never been struck by lightning while being eaten by a bear, you're lucky."
Technically true, but not really relevant.
Giving someone the option to rent a game on PSNow.
Forcing every person who plays an Xbox One game, even if they have a physical disc, to have an online connection for the game to function.
These are in no way "the same thing".
It shouldn't be surprising that an online cooperative game requires the servers to be online. Just like every other online game out there.
It looks fine, but higher resolution doesn't make the game better.
When they make a 62" tablet with surround sound, maybe.
@cgoodno: Hey man, Alpha Protocol was vastly underrated. There was some legitimate brilliance in it's design, except for being marketed as an action game instead of an RPG.
Looks like their "army of lawyers" missed something.
"Edit...I don't think MS has ever taken a jab at Sony or the Playstation DIRECTLY...but Sony has taken numerous shots at MS and the Xbox.
And you guys can disagree all you want....the truth hurts don't it....lol"

Forget about last gen. Microsoft was doing it last *week* with the Madden 15 ads.
Of course they are. It's astroturfing.
Is that any less original than calling gamers virgins?
Or for that matter using "Virgin" as a pejorative term?
"MS just cannot afford to have anyone thinking that if they want to play Destiny, they need a PS4."
@XB1_PS4: Its a creative distraction to gloss over the whole exclusive content discussion.
@mhunterjr: It's a petulant jab, and a hypocritical one considering the number of multiplatform games that Microsoft pays to advertise with Xbox branding.
I'm looking forward to this game, the same as everyone. I think it's going to be great, and very big, but there's no way it's going to outdo GTA V as a new IP. GTA has built up interest as a phenomenon over the past two decades. Destiny has only had a year's worth of exposure, and a few months of hands on experience with an incomplete beta release.
Or look down on those who are interested in the game.
Assuming that you want an Xbox One.
Perhaps this article would be more informative if the author were to discuss what conclusions Sarkeesian made that she did not agree with. For someone who literally only knows of Sarkeesian's work through the fame/infamy it has elicited, I'm not sure what the author is branding as an incorrect conclusion.
It's a little interesting that it's the day after the game's release and there has yet to be a critics review posted to metacritic. That tells me that there was a heavy embargo on the reviews and they will likely be poor.
Apparently some disagree that you had fun with it. It kind of puts those disagrees on this thread in perspective, doesn't it.
If I were to make a HD remake of Damnation but keep the gameplay mechanics exactly the same, would you think that it was a better game, or just a better looking bad game?
