Halo MCC is good, despite the online issues that need to be fixed. FH2 and SSO however, I wouldn't say that sales "flew" as a result. Infamous Second Son sold more on its first day of release than both of them put together have sold in their lifetime.
Now I could make a list of all the PS4 games that you left out, but it would be a really long list and with your obvious bias, there would be no point. However I will say that there are a lot more reviewers praisin...
No, April Fools pranks are usually funny.
I'll bet you bought Dead Rising 3 for full price.
Not that you have an agenda or anything.
The Order is in February
Bloodborne is in March
Disgaea 5 is in March
Indeed. All of this happened yesterday, well before this article was posted.
"Shakespeare-calibur drama"
A phrase and spelling actually used in this article.
Is that not exactly what they just said?
Quote from the article:
"But worse yet, this sexism has deeply rooted itself in the community. It’s a community where, if they even think a player is a girl, every 12-year-old with a mic or keyboard will harass or threaten to rape her."
Perhaps the author has never played online before. Those sorts of threats are not limited to women.
Can't wait to read how the author loves the new Gears of War game when it comes out.
Article written by "Staff Reporter"? Seriously? This should never have been approved.
A PS4 sequel would be awesome, and ironic. :)
Lousy Smarch weather...
@Ripsta7th: I disagree with literally everything you just said, up to and including your use of the word "fact".
Just because there are gamers who exhibit these characteristics, it does not follow that all gamers share these properties. That is a basic logical fallacy.
Equating being a "gamer" with being antisocial, antagonistic, or misogynist is short sighted. Can you ascribe a set of properties to people who like gardening, or enjoy dri...
@Xof: Not inevitable per se, but dramatic changes early in the series cause exponential branching in the plot that need to be accounted for in each successive game. Such as having multiple sets of dialogue recorded for replacement characters that may be necessary if certain key characters were killed in previous games. In ME3, most of the major plot points from the previous games all converge back into basically the same results to reduce that workload (i.e. the Rachni, the Genophage research...
To be fair, Jaffe didn't tell gamers to GFY, he told those vocal detractors who commented in the video to GFY.
It wasn't exactly a general statement.
It's going to be used to counter Halo 5. Whatever day that releases, will be the release date for Uncharted 4.
I might (read: probably am) be in the minority on this, but I think Phil Fish got a bit of a raw deal. The fact is that he's a creative, passionate guy, who should never have been interacting with the public directly. If you've seen Indie Game: The Movie, you can tell that he was a brilliant guy, but perhaps a little too highly strung for being the creator and public face of a company at the same time. The process obviously took it's toll, and the internet can be a merciless flood...
Exactly. Most developers wouldn't have the balls to show that there are some people out there who don't like the game. I personally think it's a brilliant idea that looks like it's a lot of fun, and can't wait to play it.
And if people are free to express their "opinions" on the internet, then he's free to call them out for their hipster douchebagraphy.
If only more people were saying this last generation.
Also, Ryse was a pretty game. An awful game, but a pretty game.
Apparently some people think you'll be getting it day two.
*facepalm*
