Back in my day, you had to install the whole game before you could play it. Kids today just don't know how good they've got it.
Doesn't matter. The game is going to be awesome regardless.
Drake can still crack wise at 30FPS. :)
So he doesn't like it because it's too difficult?
Maybe he doesn't like it because its the desiccated remains of a game that was too terrible to even launch that Square-Enix decided to cobble together into a last ditch effort to make money. It doesn't even deserve the Legacy of Kain name.
Haha! Well said.
@Esler: Perhaps you should patch your game.
And I can't believe you gave that atrocity WWE2K15 a 7 and this a 5.
WTF. No.
@telekineticmantis: Their "best devs"? Are you kidding me?
No kidding. You can't please everyone.
Xbox One displays at 1536x1080. They cut out horizontal resolution to save power, and stretched the pixels to fit the screen.
That's closer to 900p than to 1080p.
And from the article: "It's clear that the PS4 version holds the upper hand here, with a much more consistent frame-rate and lower levels of screen-tear."
So I'm not sure on what criteria you're thinking that the Xbox One version is better here.
You means listened to the podcast, don't you?
Because I did. Did you?
He played it at PAX Prime, and again at CES.
Demos. Not the full game.
If you're not convinced, look at the author's own comment above "And yesd while not the full game..."
So perhaps Ron_Danger you'd best put away your own "jump to conclusions mat" before attacking me for stating facts.
Complete speculation.
Tell that to South Park Stick of Truth.
Well, I wouldn't go that far, but we're sure enjoying it so far.
Someone is, that's for sure.
I'm just amazed that there have been a full 13 comments without someone popping their head in to trash it preemptively.
Not too long now till we'll see how good it actually is, but I have to say that I can't wait to play it. Ready at Dawn have done an amazing job.
Breaking Down The New Trailer Vs Actual Gameplay For The Order:1886 From Someone Who Has Played **the Demo**.
Fixed
@CernaML: Hey, Dying Light is 1080p on Xbox One!
1536×1080
Isn't it supposed to be "Chin down, eyes up"?
There's a difference between being told what to think, and taking heed if a consistent majority of reviewers warn their readers about issues with a product.
If something interests me, I'll buy it. Reviews just help me decide at what price point I jump in at.
South Park Stick of Truth didn't have any reviews up until well into the day of release, and it was a strong contender for GOTY at a lot of sites.
Any time reviews aren't up prior to the day of release I take note, but I try not to be cynical about it anymore. Of course, I also don't buy the game until I hear for sure that it isn't terrible, so to each their own.
You can beat Metal Gear Solid 4 in 5 hours too, if you skip 90% of the content.
