So even with the PSN outage, PS3 manages to stay at the top.
At least the "internet journalists" met their "ps3 is doomed" quota for the year.
Like it or not, we are 1 mario game away from that statement sounding like complete rubbish.
I think the early launch will at least give their fans the opportunity to avoid the mad rush at the end of the year, and the price gouging that accompanies it.
they've been overshadowed a bit by WRPGs that have better tech and are usually simpler (more approachable)
they have moved to handhelds where dev costs and expectations are lower
if the casuals shift away from consoles and dedicated handhelds, that may not be the worst thing.
Fewer games of higher quality may result
its depressing that they got their hands on this.
Psn was down during my exam preparations. had less distractions
Exams were yesterday...get up today and see this...awesome
uncalled for. true gamer would never wish this.
Play nice.
1 person returned console before outage
3 persons returned console after
200% increase
its gonna take quite some time for sony to carve out a space for itself in this crowded cellphone market.
their real concern is the success of PS suite when it becomes available on multiple platforms
Shit just got real.
the rpg list for psp is getting insane.
The PSP is almost dead in the US while it is doing quite well in Japan and Europe.
It makes sense to launch in the US first, with the type of games (shooters) that are popular there.
So many rpgs.....so little time
Better software prices for me. Nintendo games have a habit of retaining a very high price for extended periods.Eg:
http://www.amazon.com/Super...
The game is almost 4 years old
knowing that you won't be on PSN makes even more anxious to get back on.
thanks - made my weekend
The S2 is a bit more portable and the screen is protected.
also, not every sony product has to be focused on gaming.
dualshock support would be nice for tablet
Do we really see nintendo spending the kind of money needed to out-perform GOW3 or Uncharted?
Power means nothing if its not used.
Good software and hardware cost, not power, will determine what happens.
Also, most third party devs are not going to spend $$ to maximize a game for the WII crowd.
Nintendo themselves need to come out strong in terms of software to define the console
Anonymous: We're serious....srsly
the rachet and clank games were pretty good on the psp as well
platformers have really died this gen outside the WII...Sad really
