"I don't see where I am defending Nintendo?
All I am saying is should I give a damn if this person got the wrong data no."
Then why click the article at all, it is making people aware that they might lose their data even if Ninty thinks they have given it back to you. Imagine how pissed you would be if you lost 90% progress in a game due to this.
Not as important as having proper data management, why can't you back up your own saves like just about every other device out there?
Actually it's 18 years 10 months.
@Glak18
The game is designed for 30 FPS, running at 60 isn't a good idea.
I will definitely get this, enjoyed the Gothic/Risen games.
So Vulkan isn't an API?
Not all the time, depends on the dev/game.
"Opening Overwatch loot boxes or Halo 5 REQ packs adds a special drama to a gaming session. The crate shakes. A jingle chimes. Lights peek out from the cracks. It swells with potential."
But the reality is that more in game tatt that you already owned pops out.
Sounds good, will keep an eye on it.
Not got a Pro and I game on PC mainly (own PS4, Xbone and Wii-U too), and TLOU is one hell of a game (played it on my PS3 originally but bought the remaster too). I'm looking forward to HZD down the line as I am playing Zelda BotW too (again one hell of a game).
They have to make up for the drop in subs somehow, raising prices and charging top dollar for in game items is the way they have chosen.
@mastiffchild
Never said there wasn't an issue with the games only the extreme response some over zealous types can give it. As I said criticism is fine and agree that these company's should be held accountable.
It's not the criticism, it's the threats of DDOS and violence against devs, reviewers etc. are you happy when that stuff happens?
100% this
I doubt many will want to do this to get them though:
Accessing Nintendo's Shop Channel servers from the PC-based emulator isn't exactly a plug-and-play affair. For one thing, you'll need to use some homebrew software on an actual Wii to dump the contents of the system's NAND memory. From there, you have to use some special software tools to extract the certificates and keys that Nintendo uses when validating connections to its online servers.
I don't give a damn for scores, if it's a game I want to play then so be it. It's sad that peoples bonuses get tied to metascores rather than over sales figures.
Dino and BoF wuld be great.
Playing through it on my Wii-U now, will play again in the future on CEMU though.
Yes as other games have have patches to fix this kind of thing (along with other issues) and it's not a problem, not sure why MEA is getting such a hard time over it.
Good to read, good on Nintendo.
