It seems right now they have a focus on specific gaming stability and focusing on it as a gaming machine first and a media playback device second.

Agreed. Even though tomb raider looks to be timed exclusive. Now I dont need to put my launch PS3 into an early grave playing Persona 5 on it for 200 hous.
Either way Im looking forward to seeing more. I dont mind the DW games as it is so one with Dragonquest level polish and world might just be the best of its type in recent times.

I would say we should keep our fingers crossed but this is Playstation we're talking about. They brought over Akibas trip. If this were a Yakuza game I'd be doubtful only given history but for dragon quest? Im going to assume we're getting it until I hear otherwise.

You cant play "it" on PS3 or "get it" for ps3 since its a PS4 sequel. Deciding to play the ps3 one instead is like me saying "Zelda Wii U? Ill get Wind waker instead"
Its nice to see alot of whats being shown having something to do with Vita, I guess its not dead they just saved the vita stuff for japan an didnt show much before. It still not to the level I wish it were but it looks like Its not finished.
Chances of this coming west are dubious .... We did get Akibas trip though so anythings possible.
Sometimes its no big deal like in pixeljunk shooter ultimate where you need to play online a little to get a few trophies but other times say for instance assassins creed black flag or killzone shadowfall(which I havent bothered to platinum because I have better games to play right now)
Those games take forever. AC4 online trophies are like pulling teeth.

I wasnt complaining about getting my ass kicked in THIS game... did you read my comment? I said online trophies are a pain, and especially if you're late getting into the game because the type of players you find online has changed after some time. It wasnt specifically about this game but about online trophies/achievements in reply to DarkOcelet wondering about needing to use network functions to get achievements.
Kind of off topic but I get what you mean, my current rig is an HP dual quadcore xeon workstation with 32gb of memory in it... anything less would feel like Im stepping down even if its technically much faster.
It sounds impractical and kind of is but I run into workstations and parts in my line of work so its basically free.

Actually its the other way around. The people who say Dont like it, dont buy it ... if people listened and actually DIDNT buy it then they wouldnt keep making them, But people do want it and do buy it, so dont say people are getting what they deserve and call them braindead.

Remember the previous generation? There were a ton of instances of this both beginning middle and end of life. Metal gear solid collections, Zone of the enders HD , beyond good and evil HD , HD HD HD HD everthing HD which was just a fancy way of saying we've used the assets from the PC version or remade the game to

I have sleeping dogs on PC and its pretty good. The way I see it nobody is making you buy it and the only peoples time being taken up by making it is the Dev themselves... if someone didnt play it last gen and wants a more updated or better looking version or one with all the DLC on the system they're currently playing I dont see anything wrong with supplying that especially early in the consoles lives where they can use a few filler games.
