@Foehammer
Now TRY remote play on something without an external controller, vita works much better in most cases especially when it has its own games. It wasnt the success the PSP was which I think was its name honestly confusing people as to what it was... like with Wii U (So many people still buying Wii U games trying to play them on Wii because they didnt even know what a Wii U was).
So ziggurcat I guess you must've known indie "before it was cool"?... I kid.
So humor is what turns you off eh. :/
The PS2 took a year and a half to hit the PS4s current sales. Its been less than a year. It was "supported" for 14 years because it had almost no online support to "support" only needed game releases. Even PS3 still has games coming out. The PS2 was prone to CD Laser problems preventing the playback of PS1 titles or alternately causing DVD/PS2 DVD not to work and CDs to play.... it also had some failed addons and was the weakest console of its generation unless you cou...
I wouldnt say that. PS4 is competing and selling great and with all the games on ps4 right now... in comparison the PS2 launched like crap to very little competition. It didnt face real competition until the following year and it was from gamecube which most felt was geared toward children and the original XBOX which was mostly home of all the homeless SEGA games and very little first party. It had HALO but halo wasnt a big franchise yet.
PS4 is doing this well in SPITE of...
I see MCC as being a game that will sell to alot of the existing XBO owners and most big halo fans probably havent waited this long even after all the promotions to buy an XBO the day it comes out. MCC will sell bigtime and I'd be shocked if it wasnt #1 for the month in the USA but it would be shocking if it actually pushed more than half a million XBOs, in the meantime the competition doesnt simply stop selling units.
I think most of the time they are spot on... but +1 on anyone who says online is a pain because if you buy the game long after it comes out and the trophy is to win online matches or have a winning streak online or something it is almost impossible and takes more time than it should.
I agree... the problem with... let me try to say it without laughing... must keep a straight face...
Game journ- kAHAHAHH hah.. h.. sorry. game j - HAHAHAH ..... .game journ- HAHABWHQWHAHAHA ... game critics are one of the most unreliable kinds of critique in general when it comes to non-story driven games but in story driven games you can really only assess the acting and maybe pace yet the games that get dinged LATELY like destiny actually play awesome and arent really all about the...
I can only say I am having fun with it, and it has a good bit of content and the tracks are varried and interesting. Its not a sim but sometimes it feels like a more realistic driving experience.
I am not a pro race driver, I dont race on random open back roads where you would die instantly, but I do drive alot for work, I currently drive a BRZ and have owned alot of sporty cars and had my share of fun, driven autocross and generally am a "Car guy". This game is ...
Not a flop in SALES.. usually doesnt flop mean sales to most people? Its easily a 7/10 game, it isnt nearly as fully featured as FH2 and anyone sane will admit that but its basically exactly what they promised it to be and its only getting more content from here, the handling, smoothness , cockpit views, interface and etc are all great. I am saying 7/10 for not being perfect especially network problems
It is NOT fair to take review points off a game for things like "It...
@YingYng So just to be clear you will buy inferior versions when you buy single player games even if you have a PS4? You sound like you're spreading FUD. I mean frankly if you keep playing on XBOX nobody cares, and sony doesnt care because you already bought their machine but you wont MAKE friends on the sony machine if you dont play it? You werent born with Xbox live friends.
Driveclub is online... so yes
1080p yes- thats the real question? At least more games hit 1080 on PS4.
Who the hell brought up the order or driveclub to begin with?
Dont forget Sonys network has a LOT MORE TRAFFIC THAN MICROSOFTS.
9 million vitas, 80 million psps( I know it isnt as heavy as they are old) 85~ million PS3S (and alot more still functional than of the 85~ million SHIPPED 360s) and more than twice the amount of PS4s as XBONes
@Gaming247allday
Even walgreens and home depot have been breached
and lizardsquad took down MANY networks not only PSN, it does not seem to be any worse than most other online services. Lizardsquad also took down battle.net and TWITCH....and it wasnt some teen punk it was a "squad" a group of people doing DDOS attacks distributed along a huge network of computers, this kind of thing happens to a ton of services and games. Its not an actual breach.
You can play the game fine just not do online challenges. Game itself works.
@TheWackyMan
The PC isnt held back by consoles. If it was profitable to only release to PC and have a big budget you would see it happening more often.
I am a PC gamer also, so I dont "hear pc gamers" I am one and have been since the mid early 90s. The problem with current PC gamers is that they want to be able to buy a 2000 dollar machine and expect devs to program for their rig and actually optimize for it and thats not feasible so the best they...
So true.
I would call TLOU a last gen game but honestly I dont think you can really call Metro series a last gen game aside from the timeframe it was released- hear me out because I know thats how a lot of people define gens yet if a game comes out on PS3 now after pS4 is out it would still be "last gen" and if a PC game never came to consoles you might not call it "last" gen either if it still holds up.
Metro on the previous gen consoles ...
MS has been stating shipped numbers since XB360 because it was highly in their favor, as they actually include replacement units for RROD failures in their shipped numbers.
Best as in 3rd place a year after launch, or best as in fewer games or best as in worse-running multiplats?
Oh right, Halo and forza. Seems kinda Samey to me.
These "indie" games are actually normally quite robust for a handheld. A game that might seem kind of indie on a full size PC or console hooked up to a TV played on a handheld isnt the same "low end" experience its considered to be normally. A game like dont starve or whatever might be smalltime but on handheld smalltime is all there is... and with bigger games some of the JRPGs it has and though Im sure its not for everyone killzone mercenary there is alot of life in th...
