It won't make a difference for anybody without a 4ktv, it's the video output that's upgraded not the rendered resolution. It's mostly to reduce up scaling on the TV side and support 4k video.
The ps4.5 will just upscale so you don't get input lag or have to use the tv scaler on 4k tvs, eliminates input lag. Plus 4k video and bluray support.

PS4K will be a PS4 with an upconverter, the games will be rendered internally at the same resolution... though because its newer it might run cooler and quieter due to a die shrink. Not to be overly obvious but you know... it gets shipped to the store as well and they wont be opening the box to inspect it before you leave the store.... you could just as easily get stuck with a unit damaged in shipping... in fact could be more likely since it will probably be shipped on a pallet smooshed all the other PSVRs.
I suspect it will upscale to 4K so the 4K tvs can display natively without the input lag and such associated with upscaling 1080p to 4k... probably also support a newer HDMI Standard and 4k bluray more easily. I agree... drive club should have been relaunched with some TV ads .. the game got so much love after launch its basically a different game and is amazingly well rounded now. Very disappointing.
Comforts a big deal, not that somebody with an existing high end rig will buy a psvr and ps4 just for a strap but it would certainly deter some if it had a reputation for being painful or awkward.

People who own pc and no console who normally will wait til there are some compelling exclusivesand a couple price drops before bothering are given fewer reasons to consider Xbox now... it'a not enough sales to turn the tide for Xbox in any market but it's not zero sales either... the real problem here is more used xboxes on the market or handed off to others will certainly impact new console sales to some degree.

The ps3 outsold 360 worldwide and is doing so right now still. The vita has sold what, 10-15 million itself and the ps4 has sold me than twice as many units as xbone. But keep dreaming. If you're talking about the windows platform... many Sony games release on that platform. That's not a Microsoft platform it's an OS Sony has been releasing games to for decades... just not all its big console sellers like Microsoft has been recently.
