@ Phantonexe ... you can make a million excuses for why third party games don't sell on Nintendo systems but it's the chicken or the egg situation. There are even exclusive third party games that bombed on Nintendo systems like Resident Evil. And even with the "bad" ports ... just how bad of a port were the Call of Duty games on Wii U? So bad they should only sell 200k? No ... they weren't ... they pretty much were ported well minus the DLC. The lack of DLC shouldn&...

Glad you stuck with it giovani. And trust me it juat keeps getting better and better and better. Absolutely brilliant game other than the bad start due to lack of clear explaination on how to play it.
Hang in there. The game gives you almost no hand holding and has a pretty steep learning curve by todays standards but trust me it is AMAZING once you understand it and play the next set of stages after the first operation.
My advice ... buy the unite morphs to block first and spring dodge second.
Do NOT use the touch screen for unite morphs. Use the right stick. Its faster in combat and easier to master.
Dont give up on it ... the pay off...
Handy yes ... but it shouldnt be required to buy with the system when your core games barely supports it with its gameplay.
Don't know why you are getting disagrees. People don't understand the concept that fans of other platformers most likely are also fans of other platformers?
Wii U is definitely platformer heavy. Would be nice for the other genres to get more love from Nintendo's own teams.
With that said ... I will still buy and love DKC TF
I agree Metroid Prime 3 was absolutely amazing and like many Wii games not called MArio ... vastly overlooked by the media. With that said ... it's easy to see why Retro did another Donkey Kong Country game. With one Donkey Kong game ... they either matched or outsold the ENTIRE Prime series combined.

@AKR ... when someone says things like Angeljuice ... he doesn't mean EVERYONE ... but it is a fact that core third party games struggle on Nintendo systems. Maybe YOU personally have a ton of third party games but the AVERAGE Wii U owner does not.
You can list 100 excuses ... all that matters to these companies is results and the results are that only Nintendo games have sold over 500k on Wii U so far. Every third party game has struggled mightily.

Infamous Second Son doesn't HAVE to succeed ... the PS4 is destroying everything in it's path without a must own exclusive so I don't see why inFamous is on this list.
PS4 is on cruise control ... XB1 and Wii U are on damage control.
TitanFall ... Mario Kart ... Smash Bros ... completely agree with it. These games MUST succeed as a lot is riding on these games for their respective systems.
