PD don't work on games for years just tweaking graphics. They have hundreds of cars to model and have to model them accurately. They also have to add new things like damage, dynamic wheather, Nascar, and real Rally racing.

The Cell and the RSX are meant to work together, not independently of each other. The whole reason Sony invested in the Cell was because they wanted to bypass the limits of a conventional GPU and processor setup (ie 360) for more power, which does make it harder to develop for. By having a behemoth like the Cell, Sony wanted a scalable platform that is future- proof and surpasses other platforms in terms of versatility.

I don't see a problem with the price of the PSP Go, personally. If it helps Sony generate a little bit more money for their gaming division, I'm all for it. On a consumer level, It's priced pretty well for what it is and is comparable to other devices such as the iTouch.
How relative it is to the older PSP models is up to you, but I'm sure there is a market for both.
