To be fair, what Sony presented at e3 was more hardcore experiences with their motion controls. Something Nintendo or Microsoft aren't focusing on, unless you think playing Burnout without a controller is fun.
And achievements have been around before xbox.
Since when has Sony cut the price two times in 07? I recall only one price cut. They just introduced new PS3 models, the 80 and 40 gig, priced at $499.99 and $399.99. Which was one price cut to the then $599.99 and $499.99 models. Whatever makes you sleep comfy...

Sony hasn't cut the price of the PS3 since 2007. Nearly two years. The PS3 was never at a mass consumer price. A $299.99 PS3 will change that, especially for what the PS3 offers as a Blu-Ray player. Also, Blu-Ray players were among the hottest items last year during Black Friday and the Christmas rush.

The problem with Live is that it's like paying for cable. You pay for all these features and use two or three at most. Not to say it's not a good service.
The reality is that both PSN and Live are quite similar with similar and different offerings. I'd say having a web browser integrated into your console is a big plus for any gamer. Like for example, when I'm looking for all the bobble heads in Fallout 3 for that Gold trophy I can easily look online for a quick IGN guide and hop...

Mass Effect 2 or SC don't hold a candle to Uncharted 2. Mass Effect has bland textures up close and poor facial animations. SC has stiff animations, and bland graphics.
None of them won best graphics awards over Uncharted.
