If you have anyone in your friends list who owns Paradise, the game will let you know if they're playing the game, even if you're playing offline. You can send them an invite to join your game, or join theirs.
The online part of the game is great, easy to use, and most of all fun.
It is a great game, tons of fun, and there's loads to do. It'll keep you amused for ages.
It starts off easy and gets harder as you go along, but you'll be good at the game by then, so the difficulty is just about right.
I would recommend it to everyone.

I don't know if I'm the only one, but I really couldn't give a crap about rumble anyway. I just think people who don't even own PS3's are making a big deal out of it.
Rumble doesn't even make a game more immersive. A lot of people say they need rumble to know if they're taking hits in a game or something; and I say that you must suck pretty bad if you can't tell by looking at the screen, but whatever. Still nice to have the option.

Yes, while PS3 owners spend another $50 for a DualShock, a purchase that you could easily do without; you have to pay another $50 for another year of Live, something that should have cost $0 in the first place, especially since PS3 owners are getting it for free.

Goldeneye was a great game back then, and I respect everything it's done for the genre, but playing it now feels like such a chore.
It seems that great games just don't tend to stand the test of time that well, which is a shame, but at least those games lead to better things for the future.
I found Pain to be relatively short-lived. It was only just about worth the cost. Fun wears off very quickly. I guess the game just isn't deep enough.
You don't get charge packs for the Sixaxis or DS3, as they both have an internal rechargeable battery. I don't think the Wii has charge packs, either.
However, they could compare the performance of the 360 pad w/ a charge pack to it's performance w/out a charge pack.

I think, when it comes to hardware, you should always back the Japanese. Seriously. If Sony dominated the last two generations, it's only natural they'll dominate their third one. They introduced CD for games with the PS1 and enforced DVD as a gaming and movie standard format with PS2, and now they've introduced Blu Ray, which, while suffering a lot of skepticism, ended up kicking HD-DVD's arse.
With all fanboyism completely aside, Sony really seem to be on track to win this gene...

Just remember that it's an adventure game. Making it sandbox would just about 'ruin' it, as that would really subtract a great deal from the lore of the game.

If this game's any good, it should be able to sell itself. It does seem like it could be a hit though. I look forward to seeing more.
Snukadaman, go to 'Settings' on the XMB, go to 'Display Settings', and cahnge the RGB to 'Full'. You will instantly notice the difference, and the colours will no longer appear washed out.
If that doesn't work, there must be a problem with your TV. Try adjusting the brightness or contrast. Hope i helped! :)
