I don't know about that, but the Mac pwns the pc over and over again.
Only problem is, they're not really affordable. I guess one thing you've got to admire Microsoft for is making home PCs so affordable, and the software available too. Nonetheless, the software sucks (it's Microsoft, duh), but at least they set a standard for others to follow.
I don't really admire anything else about Microsoft, though, because I'm really not into the whol 'FUD' thing, I think i...
It would have been DAMN fun, but I guess we'll just have to be patient.
Burnout Paradise should keep me amused 'til then though. :D
See, I was prepared for this, I didn't get my hopes up at the original "MGS4 Demo in Feb." story, and I haven't had my hopes dashed.
I still want this demo more than anything, though, and I will be extremely happy when it comes.
MGS4 is my favourite series of all time, I've never had so much fun playing a game. MGS1, 2, and 3 were pure genius, I cannot wait for this game :)
To anyone who doesn't know which image was which, it says, "Links zie de 360 versie en rechts de PS3 versie."
That means that the 360 version is on the left, and the PS3 version is on the right.
Have fun comparing!
There's nothing you said there that I can logically disagree with (since it's your opinion, it wouldn't make sense to disagree) apart from the PS3 costing more.
You will find, in fact, that the PS3 is only £20 more than the 360 (I don't know what it is in USD) and has free online, whereas it's £40 a year for the 360. The 360 also uses batteries for the controller, and there are other little costs that I'm not going to list, because that would be picky.

"GTA fans will buy the game for whatever platform they can get".
You hit the nail on the head right there, PoG. ps3 owners will buy the game for PS3, and 360 owners will but the game for 360. in short, everyone's happy, because they're buying a game that looks to be damn good.
So why are we arguing about which console is better? Beats me. I mean, i used to think this was a site for gamers. Guess I was mistaken.
Everyone should just enjoy ...
The 360 is not the best gaming machine, it's actually the worst (I'm talking about the actual hardware, here). However, it does have the most (and arguably the best) games. Therefore, if the only thing you ever do is play games, then sure, the 360 is the console for you. But you can't say it wins 'hands down'.
Firstly, both the PS3 and Wii, are better machines than the 360, in terms of hardware quality. Now that's a fact, and it's undebatable. however, the Wii doesn't really fo...
And i'm the disagree bandit. So STFU all of you, or you get the disagree treatment. You've been warned.
I have my six different accounts ready... you don't believe me? Just try me...
What are you talking about? How will this end the console war? Please, tell me, I'm interested in hearing it.
Well, a lot of people seem to think that the only people who buy Blu Ray movies are PS3 owners, which is not at all true, because PS3 gamers would, usually, be to busy playing games.
In fact, I reckon PS3 owners count for less than a half of Blu Ray movie sales, maybe even less, considering that standalone Blu Ray players actually do sell pretty good.
So, in my opinion, I think this will have a pretty minimal impact on Blu Ray sales. But then again, i'm no indust...
You can't catch a break, can you?
Don't worry, i'm sure these guys still love you...
I'll second that, douche. It's time we turned this site back into a fricking gaming site again.
Problem is, all interesting game news just gets overrun by idiots talking down each others' console. Ah, well...
LOL, indeed...
Okay, we ge it, Blu Ray > HD-DVD.
Now, could we please have some news to do with games? i'm getting tired of hearing about HD-DVD being 'dead'. If it really was dead, we wouldn't be here reading about it on N4G.
The quicker these stories stop, the quicker HD-DVD dies, and the quicker this stupid format war ends.
Right, there will be sacrifices, agreed.
Rather than a Crysis port (I don't think the game was all that great) I'd rather have another game based on the CryEngine2. That would pwn.
Thanks, I'll check that out. Helpful people get bubbles (not that you need any more) :D
It's not as simple as that.
You have to consider:
-Hardware reliability
-Graphical edge (apparently PS3)
-Controller preference
-Custom soundtracks
-XBL has 50 achievements, PSN has 60 but not linked to gamerscore
-Rumble is on both consoles (DualShock 3 is apparently better)
There are loads of other factors to consider, but I think it comes down to whatever console you like the most.
@ Guys below:...
Yeah, there's something about that game online. Every time I play it, I make a friend, and the buddy invite always says something like "nice driving, lol."
Maybe the free roaming aspect of the game's what contributes to how good it is online.
I know some hardcore Burnout fans were disappointed with the free-roaming approach on this game, but you can't deny that the online aspect works so much better on this game than on your average linear racer.
...
Well, buy the PS3 version, and play me online :)
Also, since you know the PS3 was the lead development platform for this game, you can be confident that you're not playing a port.
But don't let me decide for you, I'm just trying to help you out.
Yes, but a demo couldn't possibly hurt sales; it would just mean we get to play a part of the game earlier, and how is that a bad thing?
