Phil doesn't make games, you know...
Yes, but that also means we shouldn't believe everything Phil tells us, since we heard this on the internet! HAHA!
Seriously, though, Phil's cool.
As far as I know, all Blu-Rays are not region-encoded, but I'm not sure about HD-DVD.
Blu Ray has the player with the most capable firmware update possibilities, the PS3.
From a technical point of view, there was basically no advantage to HD-DVD. That's the reason it lost.
I'm... sorry?
Yeah, I'd like to hear about it, I've had high hopes for that game. I'm not a huge fan of the show, but I believe developers should have got the hang of story-driven games by now. if not, I'll be disappointed :(
No need to call someone pathetic, if you don't agree with what they're saying. Try and express your views a wee bit more friendly, that way you're more likey to recieve a postive response back.
"oh my goobers!" LOL!
I do think Sony will release a new console a few years before the PS3's lifespan expires, so in a way you're both right.
I'm pretty keen to see what the next incarnation of the Xbox will be like. I don't think MS came into this generation thinking they would win, nor did they the last one, but I think they've picked up a lot of lessons from the mistakes they've made, and if they come out next gen with an awesome console with awesome games, then I'll buy :)
Then again, it'll be equally interesting to see what Sony's response wil be.
I know the 'console wars' produce a lot of undesired e...
Of course, I too am expecting Microsoft's game division to start turning profit in the next quarter of this year, if things go well for the 360, which I think they might.
I wasn't hating, by the way, it's just that Sony's Playstation division, at this moment in time, is in an arguably better position than Microsoft's Xbox division (note my use of the word 'arguably') due to huge expenses on Microsoft's part (a large portion of that can be attributed to the 'RRoD' problems).

The one who is in debt by god-knows-how-many millions of dollars is the one in the most trouble...
Oh my good grief... I can't believe you just owned yourself so badly, thwip. Jesus...
Well, I think we can safely assume that no-one got "pwned" in any way whatsoever, and that anyone who thinks so has "pwned" themselves.
Anyone who's used Xbox Live will know that the users don't need a 'how to' guide; they seem to be naturals at it.
Owned how?
I just love how, when fanboys list the 2008 line-up of the opposing console, it's like... "MGS4, GT5, FF13 then what?" or "Gears 2, Ninja Gaiden, and that's it."
Fact of the matter is, BOTH consoles will have an amazing 2008, but the fanboys can't live with that. Oh no, one has to be better! There has to be a clear winner!!
Ha, we don't play games, we play consoles!! I mean, what do you take us for, gamers?? What is gaming without fanboyism? What ...
Come on, it ain't that bad :)
Woah.. that is lucky.
Nintendo still let it happen, though. And I know that Nintendo knows what a quality game is, since they just about made most of them.
I know it sounds like I'm hating, but I just don't like what these third party mercenaries are doing to the games industry.
Problem is, millions upon millions of people still buy their crappy ports and tired re-hashes, so these corporations don't feel as though they need to change their ways, as they're achieving their main goal; they're maki...
ravinash, you wouldn't believe how overpaid footballers are today. It's just ridiculous.
Back in his day, George Best was earning probably a little bit more than you and I, but now pr1cks like Christiano Ronaldo are earning millions, millions more than they deserve, in my opinion.
