I was in a multi-game clan for quite a while (actually, I'm not sure whether I still am or not) but I stopped dedicating my time to it, because I'm mostly the kind of person who goes online to play for fun. Clans are good and all, but when you take them seriously, it defeats the whole point of why we play games in the first place.
Well, at least we have more than one picture to go with the Shane Kim articles now... I count three different ones.
Uh... yeah!!
Indeed, poos3. Indeed...
Seriously, though, how someone could lose touch with the English language to such a dismal standard is beyond me. I can't bear to read anymore ;_;
I really think they're not nearly as bad as you're making them out to be. I'm not defending the game, by the way, I'm just disagreeing with your comment on the graphics of the game.
To put my opinion into perspective, I would have given the game a 6 in the graphics department, raher than the 4 IGN gave it. That was just pure hating by them.
Of course, I know you're not going to change your mind. You, like me, have seen the game and formed your own opinion on it, and ...
I agree, I'm half looking forward to seeing for myself how Snake goes out, but when he does, I just know I'm going to crack ;_;
Judging by the responses to your comment, Goodfella, you'd do well to avoid opening your mouth in the future. Try contributing something worth reading.
Anyway, I seem to have stumbled across the MK_Red fanclub. Bubbles for everyone :D
I don't think we can expect an answer to that one, yankins.
Yeah, but I can guarantee you that a lot of people are going to simply buy the game, regardless of the actual quality. As long as it doesn't bomb with the reviewers, there won't be much to stop people from buying it day one.
I myself can't see there being any substantial improvement over the first one, but we'll just have to see.
I know, I really don't get all this "Halo Killer" stuff. I never heard a single PS3 fan say that, only people poking fun at the use of the term.
As for the people who actually were disappointed, they need not worry, MGS4 will be here soon to cheer 'em up :)
Wow, I see what you did there. Clever.
BeaArthur, are you kidding me? While Haze's graphics certainly aren't aren't anything to brag about, there have been far worse-looking games out this gen.
Here's another factor:
When Halo 3 came out, there were a lot of recently released (and far better) games out that you could buy instead. However, when Gears of War 2 rolls around, there won't be much else for one to buy on the 360, let's face it. I think this lack of alternatives could help Gears of War 2 sell more than Halo 3.
I would also like to enquire as to why the sales of a game matter so much to people. Sales are very rarely representative of a game's qualit...
I find it funny a lot of people are taking an "in your face" approach to Haze's less-than-warm critical reception. It would be understandable, if there was actually a fair amount of disappointed people.
To be perfectly honest, it's really, really hard to feel disappointed, when the hype for MGS4, and the influx of other games available for the PS3 next year, just reached critical level, and let me tell you, MGS4 is one game that sure as hell won't disappoint.
I'm sure he'll get better at the game, there's really not much reason to moan.
Ricky Gervais is generally the funnier guy than Katt Williams, but, as you said, his material was a little on the old side, and he didn't seem to have worked on any material relative to the game. So, Katt Williams wins in GTA performance, but overall Gervais is the better comedian.
However, I don't really find either to be that entertaining. The great Lee Evans pwns both these mugs :D
I seem to have just lost two bubbles, and I'm now going to rage. Excuse me >:(
Agreed. I'd never spend any substantial amount of money on that sort of thing, but, being the uber-nerdy man-child I am, I sure wouldn't mind owning one :D
For the record, I'm not really into GTA4, either. But, I thought Zack & Wiki was a quality game, but not without it's fair share of flaws.
I like innovation, but Wii Fit isn't it, pure and simple.
In all honesty, I know I'm either going to buy the game, or end up playing it. I need something to buy for the Wii (there really isn't much for it) and it'll keep family entertained, but I don't see one ounce of "innovation" or "originality" in it. It barel...
That's a crazy price to pay, but I can't say I don't want a Colossus figurine :) How tall was the figurine? It'd have to be a fairly decent size to warrant that sort of cost.
Your answer: yes.
