They're just a few quick examples of great emotional moments in games that far surpass any film I've watched. They've made me angry, or upset or both! There are many games out there that are more story driven ...
One massive plothole for me was how the hell did liara get back on the normandy at the end.
I disagree. I feel like the ending I chose was right for my Shepard.
There could be better endings undoubtly, but there could be worse ones as well.
I got the DLC. It was a 600mb+ download.
I think the free unlimited multiplayer demo is what made it great, not the single player component. I think the best demo for me was Transformers: WFC multiplayer demo, was a great demo that sold me on the game.
I call BS. I bet it's some sort of insurance scam to get a new Xbox and Wii.
I just find it interesting that only the high profile games suffer such negative backlash. With MW3/Blackops it's because there wasn't enough change. With Mass Effect it seems to be the opposite, there was too much change?
I loved Mass Effect 2, and if people played it then how can they not expect Mass Effect 3 to move in a similar direction. It sold more than Mass Effect 1 and got better critic scores (ME1 - 91 average and ME2 - 96 average), which is all that matters...

I believe the problem lies in Hotmail being hacked. Some of those hotmail accounts that are stolen on a daily basis are going to have Xbox accounts tied to them.
Having worked in a game store for the last few years, I can understand where the author is coming from. The PSP section was pretty much non-existant in the last 2-3 years.
Sony truly let the ball drop on the PSP. Just not enough games released on the system.
DA would make sense with mass effect being released, and it seems bioware plan to alternate between the franchises. I do think it's Bioware related at least.
Something Command & Conquer: Generals 2 related? They released the screenshots a whilst back and then there's just been silence.
I too, love endings that remind the audience of their mortality. They always end up feeling more real than the fairytale bullshit we get in most storys. It's why I love the first three books of A Song of Fire and Ice.
And don't break down?

@Angrymorgan & Estranged: Surely the stupid long quality tests that Microsoft and Sony do on games should ensure 'it's right first time' and to an acceptable level of quality.
Your naive if you think a decent game can survive without patches (especially multiplayer games where patches are needed to maintain balance).
And I think controllers are expensive now..
I think it could learn more from Monster Hunter Tri.
First contact war would be a great setting IMO, and would be nice to have some story on that fleshed out. Mass Effect 1 really captured an amazingly tense atmosphere between humans, and the rest of the galaxy which was progressively lost as the series moved forward.
It would be nice to see that tension recaptured.
