Sony is consistently about the gamers. Their variety is really great. I'm glad MAG is getting patched, maybe i'll pick it up down the line and it'll be a vastly evolved experience. I like the idea that games can grown.
For now, Finish 3D Dot Heroes (with a platinum) and U2 (platinum) and Red Dead Redemption fun.
PS3 and xbox are here to stay for A LONG TIME. get used to it.

I just picked up KZ1 and KZ2 off amazon for like 35$ total.
You can't beat that. I can't wait to get back into it. I want to play some of the new maps too.
I had a desire to play KZ2 last night, but I traded it in. Now i'm buying it back with killzone1 (which I didnt' play).
I bet the KZ2 MP is gonna be packed, since the info of KZ3 has surfaced!
Just rebought killzone2 and picked up killzone1 to get a firm grasp on the story. WOot! I agree with many of the above sentiments. After COD:MW2 i'm done with activivision/IW.
30 of the main employees left and thats its, it was fun run, but its over. Killzone is my new GOLD FPS woot!
Plus i bought all the expansion maps, which are sick.

Killzone 2 and figured i'd pick up Killzone 1 for the ps2 while I was at it. I do admit, although i became top of the leaderboards, after playing COD, there was a definite feeling if discomfort in killzone.
Here are a few issues I notied:
- 32 player matches would becoming slideshows (although it wasn't easily noticeable, but it was more of something you feel in your head) 16-24 players is the sweet spot for killzone

So I'm not sure about your comment. They have many 1080p games. NATIVE 1080p and it makes a big difference. They didn't lie about anything. In fact, looking at the exclusive ps3 games, will tell you exactly what the ps3 is capable of. As far as i'm concerned its done exactly what Sony said it would. How can you say otherwise? The games speak for themselves.

"Fools Gold" being used in conjunction with "Final Fantasy" and "Square Enix" as a whole is proably more accurate then they'd like to admit.
I skipped FF13 and until I see a REAL Final Fantasy title, I'll skip each subsequent one.

The game didn't gather enough momentum and to be blatantly honest, its the art style. It doesn't have enough Zest to it. Take a game like Guild Wars. They have INCREDIBLE artists and INCREDIBLE art direction as well as music.
If I were sony i'd just aquire arena net, straight up. They are a fantastically talented group of people. Having a Free to play MMO in Sony's pocket would really round out their portfolio, espeically Guildwars, which is story-driven.
It has the best value, best games and furthest step forward in technology. I can't say they don't deserve it, because they do. They should be #1, if it wasn't for the price-of-entry that turned so many kids into fanboys, when they realized they couldn't get one early on.
Its a different season now, so we'll see what happens.
But i'll still buy the game, because its something I want.
