It could be the year 6025 and you could be sitting in your own starship in some other galaxy and be like "Hurr drr, Star Citizen is not a scam! It's still coming out! We're getting a new patch in 4 months!" I don't understand why people defend games that are in perpetual development with no clear signs of ever finishing.
They need to shut up about new features and provide a solid time schedule, stick to it. Anyone who gave a single penny to these peop...
That is false. Just because Epic owns the engine does not mean they can "do whatever they want". Bluehole has paid the licensing for it and therefore, they too have certain rights. What the those rights entail are not in my realm of expertise to say. If anything, this will hurt Epic's future business since now companies may not license the Unreal Engine in fear that if their product becomes successful, Epic will just make their own clone.
Agreed. Whether it's illegal or not is a matter to the courts but it's a bit of a dick move to clone a client's extremely successful game and then start using their name to discuss your own clone. It's even more so of a dick move since the original premise of Fortnite has nothing to do with how the new mode works. It really is just PUBG with cartoony graphics. Everything about the new battle royale mode screams of PUBG but with different things. It's a pure case of "C...
Are you kidding? RE7 was amazing! Especially in VR. The only reason people would want a RE2 remake is due to the nostalgia glasses they wear. And the only reason they would accept a new RE game in that style was if it was an RE2 remake. I promise you if they released RE8 in the same clunky style like RE2, no one would buy it. No one wants to go back to that type of gameplay on purpose. The only reason RE1 and RE2 was scary was because the aiming was crappy and the camera angles limited your m...
It's always about money. 10m or 100m, if someone like MS throws bags of cash at you, you spread your arms out to catch every bag. Example? Minecraft. Notch had already pretty much sold Minecraft to every kid on the planet under the age of 12 but hey, 3 billion dollars from Microsoft is hard to turn down.
Oh my god...I have forgotten about this gem. I used to play the hell out of Rune when I was a kid.
I've always contended that The Division would have been a far better game if it had a sci-fi angle to it like aliens or something. At least that way the weapon upgrades would make sense (even for normal human guns). Also, alien armor and shields would make the stupid bullet sponge enemies make logical sense. I don't get why a level 7 gun and a level 15 gun should be any different and why it takes 1000 rounds to the face to kill a gang banger. Hell, even zombies would make The Division...
Well they did release GTA5 first on last gen consoles and then re-released it for current gen and then again on PC. Many people double or even triple dipped. RDR didn't even see a PC release.
It'll be Castlevania Pachinko.
Reviews don't mean jack at this point now that they've sold this game to everyone and their grandmothers (twice probably). If you want to hit them with a real message, stop playing online and don't buy shark cards. Let their piggy bank drop to the bottom of the ocean and then they'll compromise (maybe).
I'm glad I waited for MGS5 to be at $7 something on a Humble sale.
I hope the zombies will actually be a threat instead of just a bothersome nuisance like in DayZ.
Except that his problem was just video games in general. He hates video games and thinks of them as a waste of time. He sees no value in them and figured that it would never sell. He was offered a percentage and turned it down out of sheer hubris and spite for the medium. He has no one to blame but himself.
Well considering GTA5 was released back in 2013, was made by a well-known, trusted company and has made all of it's money back and a ton of profits to too boot, yes, GTA5 was in fact worth it. This game? When is a release date in sight? This, whatever it is, is just smoke and mirrors until proven otherwise. This game could have been helmed by Bernie Madoff and suckers would still buy into the snake oil and defend it to the death. Show us a product or gtfo.
I just hope they get ride of the futuristic aspects and focus soley on the time setting. That's always been my biggest gripe with this series. (not sure if they already got rid of it since the last AC game I played was Black Flag).
Do people actually play this on PC? I don't get it. This game fits mobile better and even then, it's not even that fun. It's only mildly interesting.
Is there anything stopping the other guy from just logging off or force closing the game to save his ship?
16gb? Those are rookie numbers.
Now that E3 is open to the public, it's a bit of a misfire to not attend and have the opportunity to showcase your product to a willing audience that are potential customers.
I know right? Thank god I waited 26 years to buy the Super Nintendo!
