License maybe not no way will they sell it. It's too big of a chip for them and they can make all their themed Pachinko machines they want with it.
Would you rather it be another Cyberpunk?
I swear, my decision to not play games until 2 years after their release really pays off sometimes, super cheap (sometimes free), all DLCs out (sometimes free) + all the updates and new features.
*Picks up stone.
I'll buy it and wait for the free PS5 update.
"Perpetual Alpha"
-Fixed it for you.
Whats Kojima trying to pull here? I must study the ancient plaques and consult with my elders.
I was hoping for a southern drawl.
If Microsoft just came out and said "Okay, we admit it, The Xbox series X is just a computer and issued a firmware update that allowed you to install windows (11 for best results?) on it and still run Xbox games off it as normal, then what's the difference? The Steam Deck is pre-installed with Steam OS for best results but it has the option to install whatever a PC can handle. That's the difference, we're given options instead having us jerked around inside a walled garden wh...
No thanks, The X-Deck wouldn't be an open system guaranteed.

I doubt there's a lot of parents out there rushing to pre-order little Timmy one of these things.
"is not readily available to be purchased alone." What's the point if you can't even buy one?
This price for the Steam Deck really tells me that Sony and Microsoft shouldn't be scared of selling higher end consoles that exceed $500. I'd be glad to pay $700 or $800 for a super high end PS5 with all the trimmings and nothing held back.
I'm the opposite of the other guy, the game was weirdly satisfying to play with all the traversal mechanics and delivering things as mundane as it may sound. The story was pure garbage though. It's 100% unapologetic, unadulterated Kojima unleashed. If that's the thing you enjoy then go for it. If you don't like constant, hammering of trite symbolism crammed down your throat with absolutely no disregard for subtlety or nuance then you'll find skipping cutscenes to cut throu...
