Ubisoft and Sega
I have PC games pass and it's a great deal but that mindset of yours is exactly what they're banking on. What does a good deal even mean? I mean, they can raise prices from $10 a month which is what I'm paying now but they can also raise it to $150 a month and it would still be seen as "a good deal" because with that, I'll have access to a ton of games. Of course they won't raise it that much or that drastically but hey, I also remember when Netflix used to be $1...
Don't expect Games Pass will stay the same price after this.
Please people, don't help perpetuate this new trend. DO NOT waste your money on any NFT based game. Don't let them even think for a second that they can just cram this into games like DLC and think gamers will just gobble it up. But if NFT games DO indeed take off and make companies billions, it's no ones fault but our own.
Man $78,000, that's like enough for two 5-star characters.
It only affects the China servers but this does pose a question of pre-censored characters in the future, I mean it's already happened with Shenhe. If Mihoyo was smart, they'd do everything in their power to completely move the company to Singapore but I highly doubt that'll happen. The CCP will do every sleazy thing in their power to keep that money flowing into their coffers.
Devs are leaving Ubisoft en masse. Don't support this company anymore.
WHAT?! IS THIS TRUE??? i JUST CANCELLED MY ELDEN RING PRE-ORDER!!
Ubisoft exec: How do we shove NFTs into this?
@Eamon Nintendo fans: First time?
Believe it or not, that actually WAS one of them kinda. I imagined being able to walk through areas with dynamic weather and possibly seasons with leaves falling off just being in this rich, vibrant environment. Skyrim came close but only due to having hundreds of high end mods that made my game unstable. The only thing I'm not 100% fan of is the fighting in this game, it's way too....Korean MMO. I'm not asking for Kingdom Come levels of combat, that's a bit much but it trades...
When I was a kid, I had a fantasy of a "fantasy game" that I always envisioned in my mind and honestly, this game so far is really hitting a lot of those spots for me. I hope it turns out as good as I hope.
I just bought Mortal Shell a month ago...
Peter Molyneux: First time?
It's free to PLAY, but they're still going to find a way to charge you and this is by far the lesser of two demons. It's also 2021 not 2007. If you're not used to companies monetising you, then you'll always be complaining. We bitched and moaned about Oblivion horse armor and yet here we are today. It's all COSMETIC anyway and there are chumps out there that buy 100-$1000+ CS:GO skins in a game where I fondly remember user created skins being completely free way back i...
Who cares? At least it's not gacha. You could prob spend $1000-$5000 in a game like Genshin Impact or some other gacha game and still not got everything or even anything that you even wanted and most of what you do get is just shit gear that you'll use to power up your other lesser shitty gear.
If this is a scam, releasing a game would be the stupidest thing they could ever do. As long as they keep adding features and never release, staying in a perpetual alpha state, they'll never have to answer to any scrutiny or reviews which would expose them as the largest fraudsters the gaming community has ever had.
Well it was done by only one person right?
Dragon's Dogma 2???? That's the real story here!
It's like one day they woke up and remembered they were a trillion dollar company and can just buy everything. If you can't beat em, open up that check book and keep adding zeros until they say yes.
