It's interesting the business that goes into this. i know alot of people love the 2d version but i think Prime was loads better and surprisingly was perfect for metroid. For me its just common sense to take the Prime route. As nintendos systems evolve and become more graphically capable why do the 2d route, push it to the limit with prime and give an option for 3rd person veiw.
I'll admit I'm a bit worried. For me Zelda has always been about the deep story and characters. Of course the game itself has to be good but Zelda is story driven. The first Zelda for the Nes is one of my least favorites for the simple fact there's nothing to play off, just go and explore and it wasent fun for me personally. Link to the past was the perfect 2D Zelda story driven but you still had to try and figure out what was next
I gotta agree with Windwaker . It should be 2 or 1 depending on who rates but it deserves those spots. Simple reasons it's was as adventurous, deep story, exploration was new and you never knew what was coming, each tile on the map was mysterious, a beautiful game but most importantly out did Oot in all those same subjects

In my opinion all those 3 titles took each style that was required for its gen like top view link to the last, 3D majoras mask, and a more massive exploration world wind waker and took it to the max.
I agree with the sega part but the Nintendo one is a bit unrealistic. I'll make this about sega though. The big difference was that sega was like Nintendo with out the gimmicks. Sega was for the mature adult, Dreamcast is literally the most underrated console ever but in hindsight sega just didn't have enough and inevitably failed while Nintendo florished because those gimmicky ideas
it could be possible. they have done it before with the N64 needing the expansion pack for certain games. In the old days companies always had a device that boosted the capabilites of there system. Release the NX with graphics just below ps4 but give buyers the option of boosting its capabilites with the home device or something like that

Yea it was such a random incredible idea, surprised it wasent shows at E3 . Just wonder wouldn't this affect them in the online market, I've never personally purchased anything from the online store but these are some pretty big titles
My only knowledge of this game was the demo they put up in the psn store and I was easily turned off, something just didn't click with me. But sweet zombie Jesus I recently been seeing random clips and they have one with a summon throwing a stone the size of a damn mountain and I was blown away. This will probably be the first final fantasy I get since part 10

I'm very excited for this game. Everything I've seen screams a true game. My only worry is as most people a world so big filled with just scenery, I doubt it will be that but at this point we've only seen 1% and it was pure exploration And randomly running into enemies, idk if hours full of just that won't get boring but we'll see
Last time it had any type of interest was the release on the Dreamcast , in all actuality it was a great game when you put it up against the franchise is general. I say take it that route with tweaks here and there, take ratchet and clank or the future yooka lahlee as inspiration, I personally don't mind it being that type of platformer upgrading skills ect... It feels so bland when it just sonic , some levels, and that's all, it needs more in this gen

Honestly don't get the fascination with seeing a female link when the story is ultimately about Zelda. If Eventually this series gives a prominent role to a female and have as much playtime as link I would rather they go the Garrudo route. Garrudo story in general revolves with Ganon, so along the way the try to help link since Ganon comes from the Garrudo tribe. Either way breathe of the wind will hands down be the best Zelda ever , at the moment Windwaker holds the crown for me
