@NewMonday, you are really making an effort to downplay this article. Were you pointing out how that other article that said Sony won was just blindly praising
Do you usually go on articles from dual-shocker articles to talk about how they don't report objectively?
I've yet to actually see anything from e3 as I don't have access to a stable enough connection to watch the videos, but after it finished, most sites and forums I went to around the ne...
No, they wouldn't. Though, then again, Nintendo fans are rarely like the rabid fanboys that plague the media. You don't usually see them running into good news about other systems to trash talk or down play while kicking dirt at the other camp like PlayStation fans often do.
Most of them speak from first hand experience rather than assumptions like this. That article that was at the top earlier today that claimed Sony won e3 is a good example. It was filled with the m...
They'll never attack Sony or Microsoft like this.
The only reason this is an issue is in the picture at the top of the page. Because its a popular Nintendo games and popular Nitnendo character which the media wants to disparage. Resentment for Nintendo's success has been high since the Wii overran the game industry 7 years ago.
The things is, the majority of female gamers don't have an issue with this. Its more men trying to stir up controversy than female with female gamers just being a convenient tool for them to do it.
Nintendo being the primary target just makes it all the more convenient for the gaming media as people seem to love to attack Nintendo and their traditional offerings these days.
Baloney.
This issue stems from the media's gaming obsession with making problems for Nintendo out of resentment for their success, and little more. They weren't talking about this 3 days ago. No ones was begging for Nene Drake in Uncharted 4 or Mistress Chief.
This in its entirety revolves around the fanatic forced misbelief that Link was female in the new Zelda trailer. This articles title, which tries to make it look like this is something bigger i...
@Random, That is a faux conclusion.
A PS3 game running well on the 360 does not in anyway mean a 360 game should run well on the PS3.
The 360 was far easier to develop for. It had a stronger GPU, more flexible RAM access and used DirectX. This is the reason why the PS3 had trouble running 360 games. It wasn't the case vice versa.
With the PS3 you had 256 MB of RAM for Graphics and 256 for system memory. The 360 had 512 for whatever you wa...
Links current design base isn't a white male, its a Japanese male with elf like features. His features in most Zelda games, primarily is eyes and facial shape, are extremely Japanese.
Link is a boy. He was never intended to be anything else. The only people who have a problem with that are egoists who want everything to be tailored to their tastes and people who just like making controversial of which their are a lot in the gaming universe these days.
Generally, a game made primarily for the 360 hardware will not run well on the PS3 do to how different the hardware was. That is why Skyrim one the PS3 was so bad and why so many PS3 games were missing features compared to their 360 counterpart.
That is false on both accounts.
TW101 was a new Nintendo I.P. that they got Platinum to make. Nintendo did not by the rights to it. It was theirs from conception.
SEGA owns the rights to Bayonetta. Nintendo simply agreed to publish the game where no one would.
Okami was not PlayStation exclusive so much as it was just the PS2 he chose to release it on. There was no deal or dedication to Playstation that made Okami exclusive.
Saying its part of the timeline, heck, creating the timeline altogether, was done for rabbid fanboys who kept begging for it and insisting on it.
Zelda is going to end of being destroyed by fans begging for needless things. They complained about linearity( though I've never viewed Zelda a linear game) and we got a Link between worlds which was the most childishly simplistic Zelda game I have ever played.
The entire game was scaled down. Puzzles were simpl...
I wish he had never created this stupid timeline.
It just killed a piece of the Zelda series for me as a whole when all of the games were Mcguivered into a continuous timeline like that. I was happy with the majority of games being their own universe completely 100% independent of the other. It gave me a lot to look forward too.
But now, with establishment of the Timeline and Skyward Swords ending shoehorned in as canon for the series, its pretty much been re...
I doubt that helped at all as restating common information that most people are aware of already in an argument like no one is rarely helps anything.
Mature? Till this day, the most mature Zelda game ever made is Wind Waker. Realistic in no way means better, and for me, it made Twilight Princess the most boring Zelda game I've ever played.
The only thing I remember being even remotely interesting to look at in Twlight Princess was the barrier around Hyrule Castle, and it was the least realistic looking thing in the game.
If its running of the Wii U then that means its really gameplay. He doesn't have to say the exact words.
Because Nintendo software exist solely for the purpose of promoting Nintendo hardware. If people could get their software elsewhere, then they would have no reason to buy the hardware.
Nintendo is a hardware company first and foremost and always has been. Most of their revenue has historically come from their hardware.
Saturating themselves by releasing on other platforms would simply remove the uniqueness that Nintendo tries to promote and make people lose i...
You can't be a Nintendo fan if you believe anything you just posted.
There is no market for the types of games Nintendo makes on smart phones and tablets. The games people play the most on those devices are free ultra-simplistic puzzle games that would hardly pass for a decent mini-game in large scale production console titles. If release on smart phones was such a great idea than why aren't people pushing for Sony and Microsoft to do so?
That last se...
I really wish people would stop feeding into articles like this as well.
Anything that speaks ill of Nintendo gets on the fast track to front. That is why the current top Wii U article is the one about Kamiya not liking the box art for Bayonetta 2 instead of something about an actual game or anything positive from e3.
Any expression of negativity relating to Nintendo will be given preference on here and rapid fire approved.
I remember reading back around the release of awakening that fire emblem in general had been put on a back burner in a manner of speaking do to the repeated low sales of the series. Awakening just managed to keep the series above water.
That had nothing to do with FE x SMT. If anything, FE x SMT is an attempt to revitalize the popularity of FE because its nearing F-Zero status as Nintendo.
Shin Megami Tensei is many times a more popular series than Fire Emble...
Neither of these games is being made by SEGA the last I checked.
And automatic downvote for this article and site for the lines "tablet centric". The Wii U gamepad is not a tablet, never was and never will be. Its a game controller with a touchscreen. Its no more a tablet than the DS, which is was not only based on, but predates the release of the first major tablet.
Only to the blindest of fanboys. Sony had the worst to any one who wants new games this year and isn't obsessed with Shooters.
