You mean the warranties that are up for the early buyers? I purchased my elite this year and have 2 years left in my RRoD warranty.

Let's not forget the "YLoD" (Yellow Light of Death)the equivalent of RRoD that is not mentioned but still a reality with PS3 owners that Sony won't confirm. And the "bad batch of ps3s" that had warranties extended for 3 months on top of year warranty. After that you have to pay $150. to get it fixed or get a refurbished ps3, with a coffin mailed to your home(via 360 style).
Ugly and overpriced, then again ps3 owners have no choice if you hate keyboards.

Oh please, lets not play the "quality vs. quantity" card-of-fail. LBP has done well and terrible on other things not only sales. For example, 1.frustrating controls 2. restricted/banned user content 3. camera zoom 4. 4-player disaster 5. fatal glitch 6. Server lag/shutdown, not to mention sales-killing delay! Lets just keep it sales-wise on this post please. After all, it's only November...wait till after Christmas.

Wow the ps3 fanboys on 360 news is ridiculous. You want to try out the RRoD for yourself, then buy a 360. If not go troll some other site or do something constructive with your spare time.

Believe it or not, it happened with the ps2. Went through 4, fixed that one a couple times( power button, dvd drive wouldn't open, and power supply). It doesn't want to read games now. Oh well, funny how the modded one lasted the longest.
On topic: It's funny how I've been in ridiculous 8-person parties these past two days and heard absolutely nothing about RRoD after NXE install. Btw, that 8-people party chat is fantanstic! I'm loving it. You can chat even when games are load...
With that said, I'm glad I finally got the NXE because now with full game downloads my Xbox Elite is whisper quiet.

Yes there are free themes and gamerpics even game content. Epic games just gave us a new GEARS 2 "premium" theme for free to use now and when NXE arrives tomorrow.

Nintendo was humbled last gen with dismal sales of the Cube. Sony, on the other hand, has come to this gen with arrogance in tact from last gen and are in need of humbling. Also, lets not forget shareholders.
