I'd rather Nvidia take their time and do the card right. PC gaming isn't like it use to be with games pushing the limit coming out on the reg. Other then bragging rights there isn't much of a need for ultra high-end cards. There needs to be more DX11 games on the market. The only time it ever made sense to by the first gen card for a new DX release was the Radeon 9700 Pro. It could actually run DX9 software well when it finally came out.
These have to be PC shots. The texture resolution looks way too sharp for the console version.
If this is the actual first five minutes of the game I'm a bit disappointed. The first game had a much better start.
Problem is Amazon on has one of the TVs in stock at the moment. You can't buy from one of their featured merchants.
While everything I see of GT5 looks fantastic. I wish they would have gone with 1280x720 and squeezed out even more details then to go for a non-standard resolution. However, it seems the marketing people won out as most people won't even bother to find out it's not full 1080P.
No it's not. It doesn't run at a full 1920x1080 resolution. It's like 1280x1080 which is not 1080P. However, it is better then 1280x720 but not a ton.
It's about a year old PC I build myself. Q6600 with 8GB of ram and 2x8800GTS G92 series in SLI. More then enough to play this game well.
My comment was that I own a PC that can play this game well. I also own a 360. Not that I own a PC that can play it as well as a 360.
Nice job PC gamers! :)
Why do software companies not understand that embracing the wishes of the PC gaming market would lead to better sales. The pirates will always be pirates. Just let the rest of us enjoy the game and what the PC can bring to the table in terms of better graphics and extra features.
It would also be nice for an additional cost to let 360 or PS3 owners download the PC version as well. I know I'd be interested as I own a PC that can play the game...
Yeah, because Fox News has all those gay bashing KKK shows...? Seriously have you even watched the channel?
Edit...never mind. I forgot if you don't agree with Obama you are racist. Fox has a few people on the staff who don't so they must be then!
The fact the White House was trying to discredit and shutdown Fox News is exactly the kind of crap Hugo does.
You might not like Beck but I don't see the White House saying anything of substance isn't true. I'd rather live in Beck's version of the world then Obama's. However, Obama is the Pres and I appreciate someone keeping him on his toes.
@17.3
You actually like paying taxes? I don't mind to a degree but I have a problem with the way in which it is spent. We've taken away personal responsibility and raised generations of people looking for handouts from the Government. The fact you want MORE government programs is case in point.
With health care the last thing we need is a Government option. We need to cut the unneeded red tape, tort reform, and allow competition over state lines. It would be a m...
Glenn Beck FTW!
Last time I checked you can cover more then one news story at a time. As for it being the laughing stock of the media you are far mistaken. (Read the White House talking points much?) Sure Fox isn't perfect but the rest of the "media" is so in the tank for Obama and the progressive agenda isn't not even funny.
The Democrats are what got us into this mess and the Republicans have been a joke after Regan. They are like Democrats lite. The last thing we need is another entitlement program. We can't even pay for the ones we have now and you want more! lol
I'm not impressed. Just slapping DirectX 11 on a game engine doesn't mean it will look good.
Why is F. A. G. S. such a big deal... I hate how PC this world has become.
Actually the DVD in the 360 can stream data faster then the Blu-ray in the PS3. That pretty much kills your arguement. Throughout of history of gaming a lot of good developers have made using multiple discs pretty seamless.
With that said MS should have held off the release of the 360 until they could have included HD DVD. The hi-def format war might have had a much different outcome.
I have to agree the Microsoft Business strategy for the 360 has been puzzling. They seem want to make money in every possible transaction instead of looking at the overall customer experience. The making money off of core items and allowing consumer choice and freedom on others.
Honestly DLC has gotten out of control on consoles. So many things developers use to do for free (and still do on the PC) as a thank you are now available for a fee. Worse yet many things that use to ...
At this point it's too late. I'm sure they are looking at bigger storage options for the next console. As a 360/PS3/Wii owner I find no problem with multiple discs on 360 games. Most of the time I just install them to my hard drive anyways.
I also find it interesting how much Sony Fan boys seems to care about Blu-ray for the 360. Why so much concern? It doesn't seem to hurt the quality of the games on both platforms.
I can't wait for some Crackdown 2!
