The whole price point, but I get kicked off the gaming zone, just for saying how obviously PS3 needs a price cut.
Because of Blu ray starting to get more popular, I can add a little positive twist to it. And say that almost 400k consoles sold isn't too bad when you look at the price difference, and thinking future wise.
But the negative twist is also there, the fact that they got hammered by well over 400k by the XBOX 360.
It's starting to look like those hollywood crime dramas, like the Devils advocate or The Devici Code or whatever. Basically it's looks like a New York crime drama.

Yes they got outsold more than 2-1, but this is Microsoft's time, they went for it all, cutting price for the next year or 2. They are selling consoles but making a alot less profit.
On the other hand, Blu ray is just now starting to get accepted. And Sony has options for price in 2009. The PS3 is going to be around for a long time and it's going to be a very complete console with demand for some of it's advantages just beginning.

I have courage, I constantly take to the PS3, screaming for a price cut. Telling everything how it is.
I may be a PS3 fan, but that doesn't cloud my mind to how they have been shooting themselves in the foot all gen long with their price.

Gears of War 2, like it or not is the most hyped exclusive game of the holiday. 360 has everything on it's side again. The games, the price as it continues to rack up gamers and sell software at the expensive of Sony's high priced blu ray player.
I just bought it yesterday at full price.
I'm so disappointed in it, that I'm taking Resistance off my PS3 liberary including the original.
All I have now is Metal Gear Solid 4, Little Big Planet, ang Grand Theft Auto IV, and I'm gonna buy Valkyria Chronicles because it's a cool RPG.

It still sucks you have to play the story mode alone. I understand it has other co op and multi player modes, but what does that do for the story mode? It doesn't change that the story mode is less enjoyable.
I wonder how many people who replayed the original Halo in legendary thought it was so much more fun doing it alone than with friends. I think co op is what usually makes shooters fun. Every different person you play it through with, is like a different adventure.

That's why Sony is choosing their battles. Microsoft is dumping a lot of cash to the Japanese market, paying for exclusivity of Japanese RPG's and price drops.
But Japan is still PS3's. Sony knows that all they need is a big game release or price cut and they will get the PS3 right back on top.
XBOX 360's 7 week winning streak didn't mean much when they were winning by 3k, and then PS3 outsells them by 33k in 1 week. They haven't made up much ground.
