and it didn't work. They didn't move hardware which is what counts for MS. R* made their money and bigups to them but it seems like, as someone else already said, MS would've sold the same amount w/o the exclusive DLC.
The PS2 crowd came out for PS3. That's what Sony wanted. Yeah MS sold more but there's more 360s out there.

I saw color a plenty. Holy crap that looked good. Sony, you did it. I don't like the CGI target render strategy but they really pulled it off this time. This game looks better than anything I've ever seen. And I'm not talking PCs here so please save your Crysis talk.
BTW, I wonder how big an install this is going to be.

good post man. Whenever someone elaborates their arguement, explains where they're coming from, and does so without coming across as a rabib fanboy I listen. I agree with you. This game is different. Is it still a 10? Yes. But it's so different from GTA 3, Vice City, and San Andreas that I can see why some are saying it shouldn't carry the name. I look at it as the evolution of GTA....the driving is a different story.

I just wish they would have stated it on the box. I was trying to adjust the screen on my TV before I finally just knocked my settings down to 480p. The game looks so much better running where it's supposed to be rather than trying to force 720p. My only gripe was the driving but even that is getting better. You can't drive around with the gas button pressed down all the time like you could before.
GTA IV, MGS4 right around the corner, and games a plently to choose from. Hope Free Radical did a good job. 4 player co-op with vehicles sounds fun to me.
but not that sick of it where I'd stop playing COD4. Owning fools with the Sniper rifle is too much fun.
it's already falling out of most peoples minds as PS3 now has a very decent library. It's coming out before MGS4, and that's a good thing, but this demo really needs to be imnpressive.
when I tried to load up my game and got stuck on the now loading screen. I stayed for awhile and then I gave up. Did a quick search and found out that if you sign out of PSN the problem is solved. I did and voila, I was back on the streets.
P.S....keep driving guys. It's not how GTA driving used to be but you'll get the hang of it eventually.

that's all that matters to me. Granted I want it to be a good game but last years Madden was so disappointing for PS3. I know some of you didn't mind but I just couldn't stand the framerate issues. Madden is without a doubt one of my favorite series and I can't wait to finally enjoy some football on my PS3.

the sand-box open world game that takes advantage of the PS3's standard hdd, blu-ray storage, and the PS3 in general. I'm not knocking GTA IV. Does the frame rate drop considerably on one as opposed to the other? Is the anti-aliasing better on one? I'd have to see the game in motion to really come to a determination on this but the stills look practically identical. The differences are negligible in my opinion.

I've already come to the conclusion that the reviewers are going to kill the game if it's off by a 1/100 of what the CGI was. I'm wondering if you think this game will do well. It's a day one purchase for me but I'm not sure if that's true for all of you. Thoughts?
