I really like the Slim, it's what the PS3 should of been all along. It looks like a toy, or better yet a "game console", something a kid has in his house.
The old PS3 looked like something that was going to kill you, it was too defined and just too much. The 360 is ugly as F*ck, but it still looks like a game console.

The PS3 was a bad design, it was too big and bulky and it looked slick in some angles but bulky and ugly in others.
This was another reason for PS3 bad sales, not as much as price but the design didn't help any either.
Great move on the PS3 slim, should of happened 2 years ago.

the gap will only get bigger this Holiday. PS3 is in desperate need of a price drop. And with Sony posting loses as a company, things do not look good for PS3 at all.
The problem is the same, PS3 is just an overpriced 360 clone, the only difference is a few first party games, great games but probably underselling.

PS3 slim and Price cut make a lot of sense for PS3. But as we all know, Sony just hasn't made too much sense with the decisions about the PS3 this whole generation, and I don't expect that to change now.
Either way, I'm selling my old PS3 and now I'm gonna be a free agent gamer again. I'm gonna decide all over again, do I want to stick with PS3 and get a PS3 Slim or should I jump to 360?
My years with PS3 have been a nightmare no joke! I did nothing but suffer watching the 360 own it in sales and get more polished versions of the best third party games like Bioshock, Fallout 3, and GTA IV, only to name a few.
