I believe the PS3 slim could be real. But now there's some fake ass photo that came out, of just some crappy fake miniature PS3 that looks nothing like this and it's just comparing the sizes.
I think it's just out to confuse people and make people doubt the PS3 slim.
To me, I can tell that other story comparing the sizes is fake as hell. Can't believe some people might actually fall for that.

The more I think about it, the more I like it. It looks pretty sweet in my opinion, and the new logo. I've was never a fan of Sony's decision to go with spiderman fonts, it's like whatever it's just fonts but I would of preferred something else. The new logo is actually like the PS2 font but with a 3 instead of a 2. That's badass

Anyway, I would be pretty disappointed if the PS3 Slim ended up being fake.

From the demonstration, it looks pretty damn impressive. But I'm a little surprised David Cage said that, he's usually not one to get involved in console disputes. He just focuses on making a great game.
I don't think of Heavy Rain as being another Killzone 2, and starting a damn fanboy war on N4G.

I thought it looked a lot like round 3, I can see a few differences in the movements already, it all looks a little tighter and better.

those are the real US and Japan numbers for April. Seems like there's a heavy dose of bitter 360 fans on this thread.
But I'm pretty pleased. The difference between PS3 and 360 in April was 48k in North American, in Japan PS3 outsold 360 by over 81k.
PS3 sales are down from last year but that's because PS3 was owning 360 at this time last year because 360 didn't have a price cut yet.
If PS3 does get a price cut this year, they could have a very strong finish to the year.
But the reality seems to be that if the PS3 does catch up to XBOX 360 it will probably be after the XBOX 720 and PS4 are out. The PS3 equipped with Blu ray could suddenly look like a very complete machine at a great price compared to the probably much more expensive new next gen consoles and that could help it stay on the market a couple more years.
It really depends, how long will this gen be? What direction are the next gen consoles taking? There's so many variables that who...

I don't know. Personally they could of made Gears of War, 100 hours long and it would just take me longer to finish it. I get bored sometimes and but it down, then later I'm in the mood to play again.
Really, if they make games 100 hours long, they could just do that and skip the next 2 sequels. But then they miss out on $59.99,two more times.

Dead Rising clearly inspired by Dawn of the Dead, but it was still good.
Dead Space sorta of inspired by Event Horizon. Almost everything is inspired by something else.
PS3 is the console that requires a hard drive because some games actually require mandatory installs.
To me, the best thing Sony could do is make the PS3 slim with a bigger hard drive but also design the PS3 slim so that you can change hard drives as easy as on 360. And yes, make an official line of hard drives.
This is important for the PS3 more so than the 360 I think, because mandatory installs on PS3 are getting as big as 5GB like Resident Evil 5.
