This gen's been kinda weird. In the past next gen always meant better graphics and more realism. It went from adventures like Mario and Zelda to adventures like Metal Gear solid and Resident Evil.
But now? It's like it's reaching a new limit. And then there's the whole Wii thing and handhelds that have been way more popular than XBOX 360 and PS3.
If It was my job, I wouldn't even be sure what next generation would be. Is it yet more graphics, more online play, mo...
I've said it all along. The only way PS3 is gonna beat 360 is if it has more lasting power.
Also remember the 360 has been on a the market a year longer than PS3, so it makes sense that the PS3 will be on the market at least a year after 360 is gone.
We'll probably get a new XBOX in about 2 years. So if PS3 passes it in 3 years, It's still a victory.
I don't know how much a like the games or how much they differ. So they both have an open city. That's all I know.
For me, Infamous is day 1. Because it's exclusive and I'm a fanboy. I probably won't ever play prototype.

first off this generation is far from over and more surprising is that it was an article from an XBOX site.

I saw that video from Jaffe, he was totally nice in it, and made come comments on how developing first party titles gives you a bit more creative freedom, instead of just being like EA where all they care about sales, sales, sales.
And then from that, suddenly some asshole makes up a story on how Sony doesn't care about selling firsty party games.

Very wise of them to not show any gameplay in the commercials, just cinematics of the Halo world, making it all seem very Halo like.

I hope they boost up the graphics a little. I know these games aren't known for their graphics but come on. Disgaea 3 was really bad. It looked like a watered down version of a PS2 game that was stretched out to fit the PS3.
The movie series decided to make Wolverine the main figure, and didn't give Cyclops much respect.
But in a lot of other things like comics and cartoons, Cyclops is the main guy, and also my favorite.
Either way, the top 2 most popular X-men are usually Wolverine and Cyclops.
good to see PS3 finally getting some RPG's.
