I get all my pc games via digital downloads on steam or origin.
I save loads of money by very rarely buying from both platforms directly. Instead I buy from numerous websites that can sometimes sell brand new AAA games at half the normal price. And all of these are legit.
I keep an eye on hotdeals and it always flags up the best places to buy from.

The rpm speed is only a part of the overall transfer rate of a hard drive.
For a number of years now, the density of data packed onto the platters has been increasing. So you don't need to have the spindle going at 7200rpm anymore. 5400rpm with a much higher data density will give a similar data transfer rate. Plus it also saves on energy, noise and hard drive wear.
Its not that I think the PS4 is a rubbish machine in any way. Its just I'm enjoying playing games back on my pc.
I don't have the time to game on multiple machines anymore and I've always been a tech nut, so building my own games pc was a logical step. Plus it doubles as my work pc. Albeit a work pc with way more power than MS Word will ever need ;-)
I don't even want a PS4, but this would be a very nice addition for PS4 owners.
The visuals of Halo 3 beta looked fairly crap.
Bungie just wanted to trial the game mechanics, not demonstrate how good it looked.
They added all the visual glory later on.
