Unlocked frame rate could cause massive amounts of tearing if the frame rate varies by a big margin.
Locking it at 30fps should allow both systems to look better and hopefully put any spare resources into other aspects of the game.
Graphics are only one part of a game.
Why comment on a game, or games, you've never tried, especially if you are just trying to knock them?

Dude I know Driveclub is a game. I'm saying the article is making a big deal out of the photo mode which is not the game.

How am I trolling when I said I play games and not photo modes? Think about it. I don't have XB1 or PS4 and have no intention of getting either anytime soon. I've played Driveclub at a friends who has a PS4 and I totally agree its a cracker of a racer.
Indeed they are great looking shots.
However I play games, I don't play photo modes or whatever its supposed to be.

Xb1 is selling very well and developers are making plenty of games for it.

I read the article dude and I am a well engaged reader.
I am very capable reader who can spot when a title could imply various meanings, whether it is intended to or not.

Sony honestly could not afford to lower the price of ps4 anytime soon.
They are very lucky that it's selling so well, so they can keep the price where it is.
This game will look fantastic. There is no doubting that.
However ND only have themselves to blame. By showing a cutscene first, which we all know has higher quality assets involved, sets the bar really high. So high, that when they show some actual gameplay footage its going to look a little less fancy in comparison.
Then again, this practice is done by nearly all developers.

It states the XB1 uses 1 core for most of the processing, so clearly the introduction of the full dx12 package onto XB1 will have huge multi-threading benefits.
