Perhaps. I've kept my old consoles but I never get them out. Too much of a faff on to get them out of the loft, plug it in for one or two games, then put it back in the loft again. Old consoles, although sound like a simple solution, take up valuable space near a tv.
tbh, I've not bothered with the majority of remakes, except for Halo in 360. If there's a market and people want to buy it, developers will make them I suppose.

No way is a cheap amd quad gonna pump my i5 2500k. Especially now its breathing fire at 4.6GHZ.
Not for cost, simply because the majority of games these days are gpu limited.

Man the best version was on the Amiga 500. I got the 'Batman The Movie' Amiga pack that Christmas.

And anyway, the difference is night and day. Xbone is clearly better as it should be. But saying that I am really pleased to see my good 'ol 360 can still fire up a pretty decent effort.

Not sure about the loading times tbh. I've got it on an ssd, so loading times are pretty quick anyway.

I've just applied the update. It gave an error when unpacking the audio. However the game still works and I'm not noticing any performance issues.

Total overkill for any game dude.
I game at 1080p on high settings for both BF4 and Titanfall. I get around 60fps and I do just fine and the games look great too.
However, thats why I love pc. If you want to go totally overboard to build a pc that can do 200fps, then you can. I'm not though ;-)

Backwards compatibility is a complete waste of resources.
Seriously, if you have upgraded to a more powerful console, why do you want to play ancient games on it? Why did you buy the new console in the first place? You should just have stuck with the older console, because the newer stuff is wasted on you.
If backwards compatibility is such an issue, then buy a pc. At least a pc has some degree of backwards play of fairly old games.

Yep KO2 was the boy. Never really got the huge love for SWOS though. I always felt KO2 on the Amiga500 was pure arcade style action. It was fun, fast and a total blast.
