If it’s a game I want I’ll happily pay 70. If it’s a game I’m on the dense about I can happily wait for a sale or it to hit one of my subs.

But of course people are case by case and value of one mans dollar doesn’t equal another mans dollar.

Wait until day 1 in stores when you find out there’s plenty of stock

I’m like the consoles release at the end of this year... what kind of declaration is it when you only have a month and a half with the new machines and 2021 just start releasing hit after hit?

Nahhhh it won’t push me, I’m already buying sub services and pay 65+ for games I want. Sooo there’s always that.

After Bethesda announcing they will still be self publishing. I think it’s more telling of the articles of people making it seem like this was some end all be all for MS. When it’s just another acquisition, I remember when Mojang was bought people said PS4 was dead because MS was going to make it exclusive.

Instead, it’s been more then alive and even with mojang games on gamepass. People are still buying PS4 and Switch copies without stopping.

Bethesda be...

I’m like that’s cool in all, personally only games I like from Bethesda are Doom and The Evil Witinin. Outside of that I’m not a fan of their other works like others.

Let’s see how this impacts the landscape though as I wouldn’t be surprised if next is CDPR. It’s pretty telling already which studios really want to work under the Microsoft umbrella. Bethesda has clearly wanted this for a long time.

I called it! I knew it was going to be over priced as hell, 200 and a 300 dollar console you just spent 500 to get a system that’s still the weakest link of the two options of next gen.

Complete rip off

I enjoyed 13 and 15 in the end, and a lot of other people did as well. I found a lot to love about those games because they did so much different and they laid the landscape of change in Final Fantasy’s future.

Heck the amazing ness of FF7R gameplay could be attributed to both 13 and 15 because they got to test out so many different approaches.

RDNA2 is essentially another buzzword tech, its implications towards current engines is what makes it useful. But yet again... when engines start to actually evolve in the next 3 years and we start seeing games that use higher poly counts with more world detail. Performance is going to tank....

Between gens like ps1-2-3 previous engines that ran on the devices ran far higher in contrast on the newer devices. But, the newer engines always hit mid level performance because th...

Mark my words, the series S in a few years will struggle to maintain 1440p and 60fps as developers start making engines that are no longer catered to old technology. The entirety of most games are designed with spinning disk to their core.

Once they start to utilize better assets, the 4tf processing it going to bottleneck. That’s when sacrifices will come, similar to sacrifices the switch had in games like Wolfenstein where they had to erect walls to increase performance. ...

People may not like it but PSNow really is a great value as the collection of PS4 games have actually been pretty great.

This year Horizon, Spider-Man, God of war, Control, Just cause 4, shadow of the tomb raider, Tekken 7, Street Fight V and many others have all headlined PS now and it’s 60 dollars. The biggest draw this year to game pass were Streets of Rage 4, Battletoads, red dead redemption and phantasy Star online 2 and that’s 45 for 4 months.

This just continue to validate it’s all about optimization and how a game is built on the device. Reality is that a lot of hardware is fully capable of handling crisis but the game itself needs to be optimized to take advantage of the hardware.

A lot of legacy games that should have crazy performance still have caps on PC. Some games still can’t recognize 1080p. The game has to be optimized

If Bluepoint can continue the Legend of Dragoon remake they were planning for PS5 I would be so damn happy. Perhaps Sony would even green light a sequel after giving Bluepoint their first big AAA game

In my current gaming expenses, I have bought maybe 5-8 games day 1. The rest I have waited for sales and bought at cheaper prices or used gift cards. I have spent the extra money I would normally spend on games I don’t beat on services instead.

PS now=60, ultimate gamepass= 180, humble bundle=144 total 384. That’s now 5 full retail games with an indie. But I am getting thousands of game instead.

As a gamer you should always be looking at your immediate ...

Sony will erode my trust when I can’t get amazing games. I’m not disappointed that Horizon, sack boy and Miles isn’t exclusive to PS5. If anything it will give an opportunity to see what the differences in tech promote.

When it came to BoTW Wii U vs switch version. Aside from a second screen there was no notable difference. The game pretty much looks the same, plays the same and actually omits features since a second screen was implemented on the game.

Man doesn’t change the fact that I’m going to buy a PS5. But if they did release it on other systems and do it with older titles being remastered.

As I said though won’t change the fact I’m getting this game day one.

What’s interesting is Sony is publishing the game and plan to bring it to everything eventually. So I wonder if this is Sony game plan to remake older titles in newer engines and release them everywhere while still creating new content exclusively for their current product.

So people who didn’t play something on previous gens can have a shot at an enhanced game and enjoy the experience.

Even if they sell the expansion slots at 50 bucks a pop (which MS wont) the series S is 100% not worth the investment
